This has been an incredible school for our kids. The teachers for each grade are absolutely wonderful and have pushed our kids academically and grown their faith so much. My daughter has become an incredible writer and her confidence has grown so much as a result of the small supportive environment.

Our kids attend Heritage Academy and love the school. We do too. We appreciate the Christian environment and teaching, as well as the excellence of all its curriculum. Because class sizes are small each child gets adequate attention and support and find the learning engaging and challenging. The school also does a good job including families through various events throughout the year. It has been a great choice for our family.

My daughter went to Heritage Academy from second grade to fifth grade. She is now in middle school and doing very well. She often talks about her fond memories of Heritage friends and teachers and even wants to go back to see their special events! With smaller class sizes, her teachers knew exactly what she needed to work on. Heritage Academy offers excellent academics; my daughter especially loved the hands-on science curriculum. I am thankful that God has led my family to this great school.

My family and I have only recently discovered Heritage Academy; we are incredibly grateful for this school. In our experience, Heritage is a school of warmth, vibrancy, and love for all children. Our child has grown tremendously in all areas--academically, socially, spiritually, etc. We could not be more grateful. If you are a parent in Silicon valley and you care about the holistic nurture of your child, you MUST give Heritage strong consideration. It's a truly remarkable place!

We love Heritage Academy. The teachers are so caring and such great attention is paid to the children's eduction and spiritual growth. My daughter was having issues in the traditional public school setting and we quickly learned a community where she is cared for and with attentive staff is what she needed. The community at Heritage are like a family, and I feel very comfortable sending my children here.

I know Heritage Academy to be a small Christian school with a big heart. The principal and staff are committed to helping students grow academically, socially and spiritually. Heritage Academy partners with parents in all aspects of school life. This contributes to the strong sense of community and trust. The school has an outstanding curriculum that challenges and inspires learning and encourages students to become life long learners. Heritage Academy is a Christian school where faith is lived out in thoughtful, kind, and loving actions, policies and procedures.

Heritage Academy is a hidden gem. All three of our children went there all the way through elementary school. Heritage Academy provided a wonderful community where my kids (and our entire family) were loved and supported and where they received an excellent academic education, as well as spiritual foundation. Heritage Academy really lived up to its mission to partner with parents to raise up kids who are excited about learning and who want to be Christ followers. I loved knowing that they were on my side, echoing at school what we were saying at home.

Heritage is so special and unique! From the small class sizes and the amazing curriculum to the Godly principles instilled daily and the teachers who love my kids so well, we could not be happier with our experience at Heritage!

Horrible experience. They enforce rules "as they wish". My son lost his father during the pandemic and was treated absolutely horribly.Think twice before you expose your child to these people!

Our son is in his third year at Heritage Academy, and we love it! It has become in a sense a second family. The small class size partnered with the love of Jesus is exactly what we were looking for in a school for our son. He loves going to school every day and is super excited to share with us what he has learned. With such a small class size, the teachers are able to work with each child, providing more individualized attention. There is always lots of open communication with his teacher and the office staff with regards to his academic progress as well as how he is doing overall at school. The staff really know each child by name as well as their family. Every morning there prayer time where the children can ask for prayer for a family member, upcoming test, or something they are struggling with. Our son has really flourished at Heritage Academy. We are so happy to have him in an environment were we can pray for each other, and speak the name of Jesus openly!

My daughter went to Heritage Academy for 5th grade. We decided to pull her out of the public schools for several reasons, including class sizes over 30, inexperienced teaching, and some bullying issues that were not satisfactorily resolved. It was a wonderful experience for my daughter. The teachers and staff were professional and supportive, and my daughter thrived academically. They are not a proponent of busy work homework, and value a child's ability to spend quality time with her family, have time to do extra-curricular activities, and have time to relax. Seeing my daughter go to school at Heritage made me feel like I was looking at a school when I was growing up...where class sizes are small and there is a balance between education, instilling core values to raise responsible children, and a priority on family. If you are looking for a wholesome, loving environment, with a strong curriculum, then Heritage Academy is a school you should strongly consider.

Heritage is a gift to our entire family! We tried Transitional Kindergarten at a public school for our son and it was worse than I even anticipated. We tried home school for Kindergarten, and although there were some wonderful elements to HS, it wasn't for us. I hesitated to enroll my son in private school due to the expense, but it is worth every penny and more! The director, Marilyn Davidson, is as kind as she is intelligent. Her leadership sets a tone of order, respect, appreciation for education, and fun for the kids! My son who was very anxious about attending school, especially with a horrible experience in his past, assimilated so quickly it shocked me. He talks about his teacher, Mrs. Koch, like she is an angel from heaven itself. I can't say enough about Heritage. When you nudge your child into the world not only of education, but the world of influence from a hundred varying directions, you want to be sure that the environment you place him or her in is conducive to not only intellectual growth, but to spiritual growth. Heritage hits it out of the park in every way!!!

Heritage Academy is an excellent private school with outstanding teachers and administrators. The projects they assign are all interesting and engaging. Class size is small so that the needs of each student are met. The teachers love to teach and love the students. The school assigns very little homework because they get so much done during class time. I am a strong proponent of this approach as research from top universities indicate that too much homework tends to take a toll on students and doesn't necessarily equate to real understanding and learning. They use very strong curriculum choices such as Singapore math and IEW for writing. Good teachers, small class size, and excellent curriculum leads to excellent academics. As a Christian school, what you are going to get is the love of Christ, which is Christianity at its best. I love the school.

Our daughter has been at Heritage Academy for three years now. The class sizes at this school is 12 people per grade or less. She gets quality teaching, with lots of personal attention, which is a blessing for her. The Staff and principle personally know all the parents, and are always available for 1 on 1 conferences, and assistance. We get emails and phone calls whenever something, both good or not so good, happens. We highly recommend this school to anyone wanting a great environment for their children, with lots of communication between staff and parents.

We have a first grader at Heritage Academy who was also in kindergarten last year as well as a kindergartener this year. We have been truly blessed by the loving staff, quality education and families there. When there has been a concern, the staff handles it immediately and joins with parents to problem solve a problem that would go unnoticed or not even considered one at another school. My children are not only LOVED but they are also known and understood. They are excited to go to school everyday and weekends ask if they can go to school! I love the fact that they work on monthly presentations in front of the parents, whether it be amazing memorization of scripture, poems, songs, etc. Parents are encouraged to be involved at the school in so many ways. We have chosen this school because in addition to the great curriculum of First Focus and Signapore math, our faith and being able to talk about it at school is important but, I know parents who are of a different faith here because they are impressed with the curriculum, staff, students and loving atmosphere.

My first-born has been at Heritage since he was in Kindergarten; he is now in 2nd grade. I am thoroughly impressed by how much the staff and teachers care for my child. Aside from academic goals, my son's teachers have shown to care about his character development as well. They want him to thrive as a leader that he is but to grow to be a kind and compassionate leader. I love that they see the importance of developing godly characters in children, who will one day show the love of Jesus to all they meet. I also appreciate the fact the individualized teaching style. They are very accommodating to catering to the pace of the students and will add extra challenges to those who need "more". And I love the easy access to the principal as well. It is a small and intimate school that is like a second family. No wonder my son gets sad when he is sick because he can't go to school; no Ferris Bueller here!

We have 2 boys attending Heritage Academy in Los Gatos. (6 and 8). We were initially looking for a class for our 6 year old. We visited the school and were so impressed that we decided to put both of them there. It turned out to be an excellent decision : the classes are fairly small which means that pupils get a lot of attention from their very dedicated teachers. The atmosphere in the school is extremely positive. Our children LOVE the school, their teachers and quickly made friends there. They just enjoy it. We also have the feeling that they are making fast progress, especially considering English is not their mother tongue. We recommend the school w/out hesitation. Our children previously attended the French American School in Sunnvyale

We have been very impressed with Heritage. The school is small enough that the children receive the personalized attention they need, including their individualized learning styles. The staff is very invested in the kids, as well as the families at Heritage. We have loved that Heritage cares about our children way beyond their academic ability. And the fact that my daughters know this about the staff actually improves their ability to learn and celebrate their successes. We are now finishing our second year at Heritage and we have seen amazing growth in our children academically, socially, spiritually, and emotionally. It does not get any better than that!

Heritage Academy is an answer to my prayers for my son's education. "Jesus is alive" at this school, as the principal promised. The curriculum is challenging yet fun in a hands-on, experiential way. My son has some learning difficulties that were quickly noticed and met with extra resource help within the first couple months of school. I love that he is really thriving as a learner. The teachers are genuinely loving and kind. The teacher-student ratio is lowest I've seen. Homework is meaningful. There is a huge effort on the part of the staff to build community among the Heritage families. We live in Silicon Valley where there are lots of people, noise, crowds. This school has allowed us to have that small town feeling that we crave. What a pleasure to be called by our first names by the staff and for my son to be so loved! My son loves p.e., bible time, recess, gardening, music class, and math. I love his bible memorization, the positive attitude of his teachers as if it's more than a job for them to be at Heritage, and that he absolutely loves school.
