Bubb Elementary is a fantastic school that provides a supportive and engaging learning environment for students. The data is clear: ON AVERAGE, the students here are about 2.5 grades above the average kid their age. So they're doing just fine. The facilities are modern and clean—just recently, the district spent $50 million upgrading most buildings. Every window has been replaced, security locks have been added, and the HVAC system is brand new. It’s basically a new school now, and it really shows. Even the tarmac was resurfaced and repainted. As for the bathrooms, I’ve never seen an issue, other than the occasional wet paper towels on the ceiling (which, let’s be honest, is just kids being kids). The custodial staff does a great job keeping things clean. On the topic of bullying, I haven’t experienced any issues with my son or his classmates. The staff seems proactive and genuinely invested in making sure all kids feel safe. At least in my son's class, he can't even point to a bully. I’ve heard there’s a mean kid in fourth grade, but nothing systemic or out of control. The school lunches are hit or miss, but overall, they’re fresh and made in-house. The pizza is made from scratch, and they even bake all the muffins themselves! They could do a bit more for vegetarians, but it’s clear they put effort into providing quality meals.Homework expectations feel completely reasonable. My son and the families I know have never felt overwhelmed—no one seems buried in work. In fact, there’s no homework at all in kindergarten and first grade, which I appreciate.Bubb Elementary is a warm, well-run school where kids feel safe, supported, and challenged in the right ways. If you're looking for a school with strong academics, a great community, Bubb is a great choice!

Traditional brick-and-mortar schools tend to prioritize rote memorization over critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Students are often taught to memorize facts and figures without truly understanding their significance or application in the real world. The facilities at Bubb School are in need of significant improvement, particularly the restrooms, which are often unclean and unpleasant. Additionally, the environment does not foster a sense of safety for students, as incidents of bullying remain a concern. The quality of the meals provided to students is subpar, lacking variety and nutritional value. Furthermore, there are instances where certain educators do not effectively engage in teaching, which detracts from the overall learning experience. The homework assigned to students is excessively demanding, contributing to an overwhelming academic load. Overall, these issues highlight the need for substantial changes to enhance the educational environment at Bubb School. While education has obvious benefits on all adolescents and young adults, going to school also comes with some inevitable risks. For example, school introduces opportunities for bullying, peer pressure, self-esteem issues, and of course, academic stress. If you don't feel challenged or engaged in your classes, it may feel like a waste of time to go to school. There are a few different reasons you might be bored in your classes. Some teachers may not have an engaging teaching style, or certain subjects may not interest you.NOTE: This message is not intended for targeted teachers, students, etc. I would just like to say that maybe you should not bring you kid here.

We have been impressed with the academics and community at this school. If you're a parent that likes to get involved, you'll be in good company. Parents are very engaged, but not to a point it's annoying. With the establishment of 'What I Need (WIN)" time, kids as young as kindergarten are given appropriate attention in areas they need most. Our child is happy and for two years now has been excited to go to school every day. The teachers are generally all very experienced...I think I've sent them one email in two years...which is a testament to how much I trust them to do the right thing. For young children, I've been impressed with the social development the school has encouraged.

Our son has attended Bubb for first, second, and now is in third grade. He loves the school and looks forward to going there every day. He regularly tells us he is thankful for Bubb Elementary. His teachers at each grade were excellent and really care about the kids and their learning progress. We are thankful for all the caring staff at Bubb Elementary and enjoy walking to school together as a family each day. Our son attended Theuerkauf Elementary for TK and Huff Elementary for kindergarten. They are also very good schools.

The Principal at Bubb supports the teachers, parents, staff and, most importantly, each and every student. There are a lot of involved parents that bring additional support to the school.

I hate this school with a passion that is hard to articulate into words. I honestly think I have PTSD from the experience here. I had to fight so hard with the staff to get help for my kids. It was a very painful experience. I was very happy to say good bye to that school. I just wish we had never gone to this school in the first place.

Bubb Elem has good teachers, an active PTA, good parent participation and a strong academic focus within the community. Located in the heart of the Silicon Valley, our school is supported by the tech industry both in contributions (Thanks GOOGLE!) and by proximity to institutions such as NASA, Acad of Sciences, Computer Museum, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Khan Academy, Stanford University, the YMCA - the list goes on. I'm shocked that CA is ranked by state at 43 of 50 because I went to Palo Alto schools when CA was at the top of that list, and I feel my son is getting a good education and developing good work/study habits at Bubb Elem too.

Bubb School is excellent, probably the best in Mountain View. The Principal and staff are very interested in their students. My Grandson was in Kindergarten last year and now 1st Grade at Bubb. They are very helpful to the parents.

Bubb is the best school. This is our 6th years at Bubb. My oldest son who just went to Middle school this year. He learned a lot from Bubb. He was a Student Council, Conflict Manager and he was in a GATES Program. Now, he's in middle school at Graham and he's an A STUDENT with a total GPA of 4.0 very smart kid. I still have one son in Bubb right now and he's in 3rd Grade and he's a very smart too. All he's grades are all advance. I thank God for this school and my 2 boys learned a lot. The teachers are great! Thank you all the staff from Bubb.

My son is going into 2nd grade this coming fall, and he has come down to learn so much. Teachers from previous years helped him a lot, and saw the potential in him and pushed him to do better each day. I'm very happy with the school, teachers, principal and other parents. There is a big diversity and it's a nice melting pot. Love the school. Planning on having my second child in this wonderful school!

Bubb is a terrific school. The school has a small community feel with lots fun activities which make it easier to make friends. There are a lot of parent volunteers and a few teachers that really shine and make it really enjoyable for the kids to attend class. I agree that the Principal is a wonderful person who cares about the students and discusses issues in a nonconfrontational manner. I wish that the school had PE every day. Also it would be great if there was something for the smarter kids. Not the GATE program, but something every day. My daughter gets bored and I feel she could learn more if they were teaching according to ability.
