    We enrolled our deaf/hard-of-hearing son at Voy Spears Elementary mid-year at age 5, unaware of Missouri's delayed enrollment option. The school didn't advise us, which we regret, especially after a cross-country move. We feel the principal should have shared this information.When we requested kindergarten retention, we were dismissed. Now in first grade, excessive special education services isolate our son, unfairly labeling him and hindering inclusion.The PTA feels unwelcoming, and a library incident highlighted unprofessionalism. The school's reward system is inequitable, with our hardworking son consistently overlooked.Voy Spears prioritizes metrics over genuine student well-being, lacking focus on inclusion and meaningful support.

    Excellent. I’m glad my son was able to attend from kindergarten all the way through 5th grade.

    One of a kind. It was especially noticeable after moving to a new school. We miss Voy Spears.
