My experience at this school was horrible, the first 7 weeks I didn’t have a school issued device, the classrooms are overpacked there’s barely in any walking space in each classroom, most teachers don’t care about your mental health. Your only allowed 5 passes per week and that’s it I watched a kid pee his pants in class before because he was out of passes and the teacher couldn’t let him go to the bathroom

From the halls of Truman, you'll hear children crying from their bodies being contorted and their bones being crushed. Nobody can move throughout the hallways without slow walkers, yelling people, and a stupidly congested T. The school used to be a middle school. It's not meant for all of these people. The curriculum is terribly average, and there is at least one fight every day. For me, the choir team has been the only positive experience, community and whole.

Hate this school, my cousin gets bullied and no one does anything about it she had to transfer schools and go virtual for Van Horn

the schools and the district as a whole is completely racist. the environment is disgusting, there are a lot of bugs as well.

Disgraceful management. In a world where there is a lot of horrible things happening they are adding to it instead of properly dealing with it

I graduated from Truman in 2013, and it is an excellent school. I attended three different high schools in the Metro area, Park Hill South being one of them, and they are no where close to Truman as a whole. The teachers are caring and supportive, and contrary to what others have said you don't have to act up to get attention. I loved everything about this school and I am so proud to be a Patriot alumni!

I went to a lot of different schools, but this one was the best one I ever went to. The teachers were always helpful, the students were usually nice, and the extra requirements from teachers and principals for the students always made me push myself harder and exceed my own expectations. The counselors helped me through so many hard times. The entire faculty is just so strong at that school. I am so proud to say that I graduated from Truman High School in 2011.

i was a student at this school and personally it was one of the best schools that i ever went to!!! I love the studenst, teachers, and staff. everyone is nice and as long as you stay out of it you dont have drama personaly i had barrly any drama. yes, there is inappopriate language but every highschool will have it no crimes!
