This school is a joke! My son is autistic with learning and language disabilities. Instead of trying to work with him and give him the help he needs, they only push for us to medicate him. We have tried medications to help but there is absolutely no difference in his behavior when medicated. He needs structure and guidance, not medication. I'm not medicating my child for no reason. Get your act together, do your job and teach these children the way you should. They also mark him absent or tardy for using the bathroom after he goes to the classroom and speaks with the teacher getting permission to use the bathroom. Now he is facing detention for too many. This is unacceptable. My son, as well as any other child should be allowed to use the bathroom without fear of detention or worse. This school needs to get its act together or I will be contacting a lawyer and the news station about the poor treatment.

Rolland-Warner offers incredible programming for ALL students, including several accelerated courses, a specialized PLTW science/engineering program, free transportation to before school interventions and 0 hour classes, an outdoor education course, the option of enrolling in a balanced or traditional calendar program, excellent reading and mathematics intervention courses, and an awesome alternative program. The club offerings are out of this world-including archery, beekeeper's club, future problem solvers, and many more. Finally, the staff is exceptional.

I hate this school and can not wait til my daughter is back in Zemmer. The secretaries especially the attendance one is very rude. They never answer the phones when called and have made mistakes with her attendance as well as misplaced her physical. The teachers her are not equipped to help when struggling. Their is no tutoring offered here and they keep blaming all this on the over crowding since the schools merged.

The school board and young super have ruined a good school system. I am very sad.

I have had 2 of my children attend Rolland- Warner. It has been a good school. I only have a few complaints. (1) The office staff is rude. (2) there is not enough help for kids who are in special ed. (3) they don't start until after 9am while the elementary starts an hour before, makes no sense. The younger children need more sleep. Other than that, I really haven't had any problems with this school.
