Davison high school is a joke. Administrators act like they’re the ones going to high school and they don’t care about the students well being

I was so excited to get my kids back into Davison schools after a few years away. Since then they have experienced more violence and been exposed to more drugs and alcohol than ever before. We just moved back from Flint so that speaks volumes. It’s went downhill very rapidly and I do not recommend the school unless they step up and make drastic changes before it’s too late.

Overall, the school is an above average place for learning. This is a good choice for parents who are looking for a good high school that will prep them well for college. But be wary about the teachers and the environment, as an alarming amount of teachers have poor methods of teaching, and the big problem of bullying that is running rampant, and does show any clear signs of slowing down (if the staff continues their lack of enforcement on anti-bullying policies).

Overcrowding is just horrible at the new Lapeer High School, The AP director is not a people person. The overall consolidation was a disaster. The young and inexperienced Super. (Aka last years play by play football announcer) pushed this change way to fast (for football) and then started interviewing for new position before even completed or iron out, just as many people predicted. We wish he had gotten the job at GrosPNT so Lapeer Board could correct their mistake that has cost this community dearly. The board is just out of touch with what is best for our children. Bigger is not better! (except for Football of course) Go Cards!
