My son has been there since kindergarten and is now in 5th grade. The teachers and staff and the principle have all done a great job. I think 5th graders should have more challenging homework.

I disagree with the fundamental philosophy to teach with a reward/punishment system. There is an energy from the staff that it's a terrible place. The Principle makes excuses for the teachers inexperience by saying they are learning with the students. They say they want to work with the parents, but only when it suites their need to make better test score ratings. She thinks they should have less time at recess and more time on academics, not feeding the whole child, nor creating a positive learning environment. The children are constantly being negatively corrected and conditioned to feel they are doing things wrong. Punishments including reduced time at recess! If anything, they need more time outside! If you don't have to send your child here, don't!

Eiber is a great school with committed teachers that educates the whole child including social skills!
