    The years my child spent at this school were very challenging. The school used to say that my child was the problem. We switched to a private school and all our school problems are gone: my child is now challenged by her teachers and excited to go to school.

    This school is a hidden treasure! It is a public school with a private school feel. The school community is wonderful!!!!

    Stony Point Elementary School Located in historic Keswick Va. (Albemarle County) is an important part of my grandson's young life. With Ms. Carrie Neely as Principal and Mr. Matt as his second grade teacher my grandsons intellectual development has been a pleasure to witness. I highly recommend a thorough read of Stony Point School excellent web-site to both parents and educators.

    We recently moved back to the Stony Point area and switched schools. We must say the moving experence was completely painless and very warm welcomed !! Ms.Payne (3rd grade teacher) Mrs. Neeley (Principal) as well as all other office staff made my 3rd grader feel right at home. Changing to this school has been one of the best decisions we've made!

    We have been so thrilled with this elementary school. The smaller size makes the kids feel so much more comfortable and we really enjoy school events because of the strong sense of community at the school. The emphasis on writing, art, and music is wonderful. This is like being at a private school, but without the cost!
