The teachers and leadership at this school are fair, honest and care about my child’s academics as well as their safety and well-being.

Teachers are liberals. They don't listen to an argument and blame you for things repeating the same thing over and over again. Some teachers there do not like to help students when they are confused and even though a student has a troubled past, they assume and don't help the student.

My first year at Jefferson middle school was great i enjoyed my time and my classmates but as the new school year rolled around i began to notice that some of my peers have yet to grow up their immaturity is over the top they disrespect the staff and each other. The lack of discipline is disappointing and the little "discipline" they do enforce is not getting through to my peers . I do not have this problem with my two higher classes my peers in those classes pay attention and know when it's appropriate to talk and to not talk they are not nearly as disrespectful as in my other classes. The one's who are disrespectful just don't care what happens and don't care if they make a 70 on a test the teachers put so much time and effort and my peers take it for granted . It has disrupted my learning numerous of times to the point where i can't stand it teachers having to pause and discipline these students and having to waste their time telling a student to sit down and stop talking . My peers exhibit no effort into what they do before trying they give up

I hated everyday that I went to this school. I began to dislike everyone, and iif it wasn't for MDCHS I would absolutely hate my life.
