Best school in North Georgia by far. We moved here from Hall County 2 years ago and our daughter has increasingly impressive results every year. Strong work ethic, great teachers, fantastic facilities. The negative review from November is particularly laughable, almost all the teachers and people here in Jefferson are classy, sophisticated and educated. Based on the weak grammar and sentence structure, I'm going to assume they were NOT Jefferson grads (or grads from any High School perhaps?). Great school, worth a move if you're considering it.

Excellent . The staff and teachers are approachable . We are kept informed about and the teachers will work with you or answer any concerns you may have about your student's progress. There are many extra curricular activities for the interests of all students.

I moved my three kids 4th, 6th, 8th from one of Gwinnett county's best school systems. Jefferson City Schools has exceeded my expectations. The academics are better than brookwood and JCS offers more athletic and social activities. My three kids miss their friends but love the new schools.

I am so glad that we moved our daughter from a neighboring county to Jefferson City Schools! She has received many opportunities that would not have been available to her in other systems. She came to JMS as a 6th grader from a school system where she would come home from the Gifted classes saying that she was not learning anything. She is about to graduate with a 3.9 and credit for several AP classes. I haven't worried about exposure to negative things, violence, or academic rigor!

Parents might want to question their morals before sending their students here. They have been known to hide things from the public. For example my son has seen several incidents that would warrant a police investigation that the administrations and teacher were aware of it happening, but instead of dealing with the issue they rather turn their backs were the public will not find out.

Amazing place for our kids to grow in both their academic excellence and their character. We have previously home-schooled, gone to private school, and now have had our kids enrolled in the Academy, Middle School and the High School. Last year the Academy and Middle School were #1 in the State in EXCEEDING CRCT scores. Our kids do not face many of the same pressures and pitfalls many of our friends' kids do in other schools. We feel very blessed to call the school and community home.
