Frost Elementary: We moved to the area last year and I enrolled all three of my kids in the school, I didn't get a chance to actually get the sense for the school with them only being in it for two months before the school year ended. With this year I have noticed that the school does not do very well at contacting the parents before the kids are placed into detention or I.S.T as they call it but I know it as I.S.S. And they do not do a very good job about stopping the bullying. I had numerous complaints from my fifth grader that he was being teased and picked on by one particular kid while no one at the school really handled it. The few times I stopped by and joined my children at lunch I quickly realized why they are starving when they get home. The poor choices and helping size for what they call a balanced lunch was very disappointing. I had finally found a teacher that agreed with me and helped me get help for my fifth grader and kept in contact with me all the time with how my child was doing in school. I did notice that my very smart second grader was slipping behind in school. I feel that the school as a whole could've done much better. I am not highly impressed
