My rating is based upon observing grand kids, their skills or lack of skills, and their level of education being so so low. I believe they need to run from the technology that keeps them bound to screens instead of books. And the teachers or the school need better teaching material, and or tutors that can bring the children up to top levels before its too late.

This school does not seem to follow the bullying statements for their school and well as the bus drivers. They see only one side of the story. This has even happened by his teacher, certain statments you just dont say to a kid. At this point if it does not improve by the end of April, I will be getting a education lawyer.

this school did not impress me at all. The preschool was wonderful, but that is ran by an outside party (community action agency) my daughter is transfering out because I felt the teachers couldn't figure out how to educate properly. They stated my daughter liked to stand up in class but didnt tell me this until the end of the year when it was too late to parent her on this problem.I feel they simply couldnt handle the class size (there were around 30 kids per classroom) am interested to find out of my daughter has the same problems at the new school, or if it was just their inability to do their job.also I taught my daughter more over spring break then they did all year because she was " not catching on and falling behind" (hows that work?) I will say I DO like the set up of the balanced schedule. i was unimpressed with their transportation department. my daughters bus just didnt show up on 2 occasions so had to call and once was because the bus driver "forgot " her and the next the bus driver just didnt show up and no one called me i called and found out she just didnt show up. If you are thinking of using this school to educate your child, dont for your childs sake.

The teachers at Hunt Elementary all try their best to teach with what they have. Classes rotate through music, PE, and writing every day, and there are two computer labs with enough computers for each student in the class to work. Breakfast, lunch, and a snack are available, and the students at this school seem to enjoy being there. Instructors take care of those who are disruptive, allowing the students there to learn the proper atmosphere. The secretaries and principal get to know each student. Some of the material could be a little more challenging.
