Hopkins Academy truly shines as an exceptional school! With its diverse range of AP classes, it paved the way for my successful entry into Clark University. My journey here was enriched by wonderful teachers and counselors who were always ready to lend a helping hand. Their support made a world of difference, ensuring that I had everything I needed to thrive.Though it’s a small school, Hopkins Academy is bursting with opportunities and extracurricular activities. I was fortunate to participate in three athletic sports, as well as being involved in Band, Chorus, and Student Council. These experiences not only enhanced my skills but also created lasting memories and friendships. I wholeheartedly recommend Hopkins Academy to anyone seeking a nurturing and enriching educational experience!

The Academy is a great place for learning on all levels. There are many devoted teachers who are there after school and early morning hours to help all students. Not everyone is going to feel comfortable in middle school and it does not matter where you go to school but all of the staff cares not only about the MCAS scores but what each individual is able and willing to do and works hard to assure success. I admire all of the staff for helping each child reach for the stars. Thanks to all especially the Math department at Hopkins.

this place is a horrible school where the staff are slow witted and narrow minded. While in hadley I had a 2.5 once i left for a elite private high school i had a 3.75. I think i was the only one from hadley to attend an ivy also.

Hopkins Academy is a school with many problems. To begin, if you are not in the sports program, you are absolutely nobody. Adding to this profound failure, a majority of the teachers (and students) are outstandingly ignorant and arrogant. The student government is completely controlled by the school administration, and is completely pointless as a result of that. Hopkins Academy prides itself on MCAS scores (Because they teach only what is on it, nothing more, usually less), and in recent years, those scores have not been particularly good. Most of the current middle-schoolers plan on attending alternatives to the Hadley school system, and honestly, I can't say that I blame them.
