Leading edge online is awful!! It's self learning program. It's basically reading worksheets all day and teaching yourself. It's also extremely boring. Let's talk about Math.. There's nothing interactive in the program that helps you learn steps to the problem. You basically have to read it and figure it out yourself. The school pretends teachers are available but really your lucky to get 30 mins a week. When your learning new formulas for math daily and the program is garbage. There's no way a child can learn this way. I signed my child up for a different online school and it's night and day. They actually have prerecorded videos during each lessons that teaches the your child step by how to do something. After being in this new school, I'm realizing even more how bad the online program is at leading edge. If you want you child to have an enjoyable online experience and actually learn stay away from Leadind Edge online!!!!!!!

My son was struggling at his previous school so we decided to move him to an online school. I was worried that he would not have the support he needed to be successful - but this was the best decision we could have made for our son. The teacher is readily available and the quality of the teaching is top-notch! I highly recommend this school if you are looking for an online school.

Leading Edge Online Academy (LEOA) is a place where students succeed because administrators, teachers and support staff care about each individual student. Upon enrolling, students receive individual academic counseling as a four year learning plan is developed to meet their educational goals. Teachers continue to meet with students frequently to review their coursework, update their learning plan, and ensure students achieve their goals. LEOA is definitely a GREAT SCHOOL!

What a wonderful experience for our high school aged daughter. She has primarily utilized the online program but has taken a regular math class with GEC. She is affected by a chronic illness and is thriving at this school. Thank-you Leading Edge! Mrs. Z is the best teacher she has ever had!
