My son has attended Spectrum for 3 years now and they have such amazing teachers and staff. The teachers are so kind, engaging and really care about the kids they teach. The front office staff Joan, Sam and Judy are the best! We have loved our time at Spectrum and look forward to being a part of this school community for our elementary years.

We have been at Spectrum Elementary for 6 years and we have loved every minute of it. The teachers and staff truly have the students best interests in mind. The community of parents work together with teachers and administration to create an environment where all students can succeed.

Spectrum is a great place for all children to learn. The administration changed in the 22/23 school year and the school has been thriving since. I highly recommend Spectrum Elementary for everyone!

The principle turns a blind eye to racist bully kids in the school. The best thing I did was take my kids out of this school. I find it interesting that minority kids are always in trouble at the office. Don't fall for the fake smiles. Run away from this school. Protect the mental health of your children. Stay away from this racist school!

It’s an absolutely horrible school. I put my children in this school, hoping they would love it. It’s horrible. The teacher is a complete bully and picks sides rather then solving problems. The racism here is through the roof. She doesn’t hesitate to punish the children there. My child got lunch detention for going to the bathroom during recess. She had to sit in a corner in a small tiny chair and be quiet, or she would get in trouble. My son, also has a horrible experience there. The teachers were extremely strict. I do not recommend this school.

Overall EXCELLENT. Only room for improvement is ineffective unfriendly PTSO, rude demeanor deters volunteers from wanting to get involved. Minimal communication makes it hard to stay invested.

TERRIBLE!!!! TERRIBLE!!!!! TERRIBLE!!!!!Parents don't bring your child to this school, the principle is Terrible. Shes a bully. She bullies the children that she doesn't like. When an incident happens she just puts the blame rather than finding the solution to why it happened in the first place. She is so quick to suspend or give detention and call the parents. She makes it hard for students to enjoy their experience in elementary and focus on their education.

I have loved my experience at Spectrum Elementary. I researched every public and charter school around, toured 4 schools and decided spectrum was the best fit. I was pleasantly surprised when it was even better than I was expecting! The teachers are hands on and really care about their students. They not only learn but they have fun! Being a kid in school is just as important as learning.

This is our 2nd year - kindercamp w/ MS Rose and Kinder w/Ms Miltun. They work so closely with all the children. I'm impressed at the curriculum and extra circular programs they have. My son is 4 months into Kindergarten and knows 150+ sight words and can read basic books. He's in the running club and wants to be a part of other clubs. He has such school pride. I love Spectrum and am so impressed by the wonderful, knowledgeable, caring staff. The principle, Ms Boomer, is fantastic and very hands.

Spectrum is very organized and has proven themselves in strength within the principal and teachers - whos interests lie with children's education as priority. With government cut backs, unfortunatly schools have closed bringing spectrums attendance up and therefore raising class sizes; not their fault. For spectrum to continue with high test scores as well as a high grade rating school during this hard economic time, shows the strength of the class to endure extra work. I hope they open up the closed schools within the area bringing attendance down to 15 per class as it once was; but until then we are completely satisfied and have full confidence in Spectrums system of operation and education.
