I am a student at Walters Middle School. The school itself is outstanding. The teachers are really helpful, understanding, and appreciative. You can't get in trouble very easily. The teachers are lenient, which can be viewed as a good or bad thing. The P.E. teachers are very understanding; only certain teachers make you run the mile very often. The teachers themselves are very observant. I twisted my ankle, and the P.E. teacher excused me from running without a parent note or a doctor's note because they saw I was limping. I was in this school for 2 years, and I can gladly say that it was the best 2 years of my life. The counselors are super duper helpful. With that said, there are some teachers that can be rude sometimes, but there's no particular staff member who is really rude. I loved the 2 years I spent at Walters Middle School.

As a current students of Walters Middle School I think it’s a great school. Some reasons are. I as a student am feeling extremely safe. Great teachers. Amazing counselors . Finally there is a great amount of elective to choose fromAs a student the I found the counselors extremely helpful when you need to figure out something mentally, have problems with school , or managing your grades.Teachers there are strict, fun, and silly . Finally when choosing electives for 7th grade there is a great variety such as art and Spanish . The Spanish program they have can be used for you only doing 1 year language in high school. Overall Walters Middle School is an outstanding school.

I recommend this school, because of the good teachers. My son just started Seventh grade at Walters, and he tells me that all the teachers are supportive, and that the work is simultaneously difficult and challenging, but easy thanks to the helpful educators. He went to Walters last year for Sixth grade and he said the same thing, so I 100% recommend Walters.

Writing this during the remote schooling year during the pandemic. This has also our sons first year at the school. But we are very happy with how hard the teachers, principal, staff, even the librarian care for kids and the amount of effort they have put in to make online learning as effective as can possibly be. Especially when I talk to parents with kids in other Fremont schools I realize other schools are not doing many of the things Walters is doing. I am very happy we are at Walters.

Walters is great for its Staff. Mr. Weems & Mrs Holmes are positive and amiable with all students and truly care for their well being displayed through their consistent positive actions taken at school on a daily basis from walking students accross the street and greeting them in the morning to open and honest dialogue around campus.

Walters Jr. High is a VERY good school, and I have been extremely impressed with the teachers, staff, and student body. The leadership at the school is involved, aware, and proactive about making sure the students have a healthy learning environment. My son is an overachiever, and I was worried about whether he would be challenged and grow. The teachers are excellent, and have provided a compassionate, collaborative, challenging environment for him to thrive. I highly recommend this school. The staff and teachers have worked with me and my family to make it a great year.

Pretty fun school, but the food is horrible. Parents could say what they want, but as a student who went there last year I can say it's a good school. The kids are really nice and funny for the most part and make school relatively enjoyable. Are all the teachers great? No, but when are they. Most of my teachers were really nice and helpful though. The one thing I hate about the school is the lunch food. Usually the food tastes like cardboard. I know you adults don't really care about that, but us kids look forward to eating lunch.
