I needed a place to bring my son for pre-k before he started Kindergarten at our local public school. I'm so glad I did. Stratford provided him with the best foundation so he can excel once he starts kindergarten in the fall. I have been very impressed with the teachers, curriculum and overall program at the Stratford Fremont Blvd campus. It was not unusual to see my 4 year old come home speaking words he had learned in Spanish class that day! In addition, loved and learned so much in doing all the science experiments in class, he would come home and replicate the experiments in front of his family. As a special bonus, the periodic musical performances accompanied by live music that the kids would display in front of teachers and parents were superb. All of this exhibited by a 4 year old! My now 5 year old son is very advanced for his age and I owe it all to his year here at the Stratford Fremont Blvd. Campus.

Our experience at Stratford School has been outstanding. My child has attended the Fremont Blvd. campus for 3 years (2 years of preschool, 1 year of pre-K), and we have decided to continue our son at this campus for Kindergarten because the overall experience has been wonderful for not only us as parents, but for our child. My child has loved every teacher he has had at this school. His homeroom teachers have all been genuinely caring and thoughtful. He gets excited about when he gets to see his resource teachers (Music, Science, and Spanish). He has built great relationships with all of them, and we frequently stop by to say hi to his past homeroom teachers to give them hugs.As a parent, I love the curriculum here. I love that the children get music, art, science, and Spanish in addition to the reading, writing, and math. I love that reading, writing, and math skills they learn are practical. For example, they learn how to count money, tell time using an analog clock, and learn most concepts through songs so that they retain the information. Yes, the curriculum does push your child at an early age. However, my son has done extremely well at this pace of learning, and at 5, can read most sight words and 3 letter words. He now reads basic “Step into Reading, Step 1” books with little to no help. We do read a lot at home, but the curriculum at Stratford has really helped to excel the pace of his learning.Another thing I love, love, love about the program for preschool and pre-K are the Winter and Spring recitals they put on for the parents. The teachers and children work really hard all year long to put these magical performances together for the parents, and it is such a joy to have seen my child sing and perform through all 3 years. I’ve really seen him grow into a wonderful performer. I was referred to Stratford 3 years ago by one of our health care providers who also sends her children to another Stratford School, and I’ve never regretted or have been disappointed with our choice. It definitely is an investment to send your child to Stratford, but it has been absolutely worth it for our family.

Don't go here. Very little actual learning in school occurs. My child came out of here behind the average
