We had one good year and one horrible year with this school. We learnt a lot in our horrible year. The school does not acknowledge and does not take any actions on bullying incidents, social emotional/sensory needs, supports for kids with disabilities, yard duty does not monitor lunches and incidents occurring during recess, the administration engages in intimidation tactics and child brainwashing. The teachers have no idea what the child is doing in class and on multiple requests they said they don’t have time to observe everyone. The teacher student ratio reported is not true. It’s 28:1. Parent engagement is minimal and more oriented more towards donation. They even ask kids to go home and ask parents for money. I had to tell my kid on a couple occasions that we already donated a lot when he was opening his piggie bank to give his money to donate to the school.

No real teaching efforts. This school doesn’t engage with the parents of the students and they don’t let us know anything that could be going on at school in regards to their social engagements. Many students get bullied by others and it goes unnoticed. Nothing is being done about the children misbehaving and making other feel bad about themselves and their education. There is no priority about students emotional support.

I am currently in 8th grade and my middle school was Maloney. I loved my experience there, the teachers and staff are very welcoming and try to keep the school fun. They had many activities such as afterschool sport classes which is very fun. Although many of the best teachers are moving away, I'm not sure how the school currently is. But for me in 2018, this school was great.

Great and Fantastic. This is the first time for my child getting in as Kinder Gardener. She is having enjoyable experiences. I really appreciate and would ask to continue the same.

I would give Maloney 10 stars if I could. The teachers are sensitive to the needs of the students. There is a strong push to help students with learning difficulties including an SST Team, and teachers who provide intervention. The school is incredibly diverse, and appreciates everyone's culture. Our family is proud to be part of Maloney Elementary School.

This school is graded with an 8, but should be a 5.This school is fine if your child is from Southern Asia and your child has no learning disabilities.

This school needs to deal with bullying in a more effective way. Kids who bully are not disciplined in any way and favorites get away with doing just about whatever they want!

My daughter's teachers are the best. They helped her in all possible ways and guided her in learning many things which she was unaware of, as we were new to US. She loves her teachers very much and praises them. She wishes to have the same teachers for the new grade as well. The Principal and all staff members are very kind, helpful and always striving to make Maloney a better place for the children's education.

My child goes to Kindergarten and what to say she likes her school, teacher, Principal and everybody in there so much....She is having a lot of fun along with great learning...Her Class Teacher is so considerate and knows kids so well. She is well versed with all their strong points and focuses a lot on the areas of improvement...Kids are being given a very constructive environment to learn...They keep on having various fun events from time to time like Halloween Party, Field visit, Founder's day celebration, Spring Carnival...etc. In all Tom Maloney Elementary School is just right for my child...

My older child has been at Maloney for 5 years, and this year has really been a great year at the school. I'm very happy with how my child's last two teachers communicated home both about academics and social/behavior issues, and put in extra effort to challenge them even while dealing with multiple students just starting to learn English. The new prinicpal is energetic, dedicated, and handles discipline Like A Boss. Many parent volunteers help out in classrooms, and it seems like the parent group tries to include all the different families at the school. The kids go to computer lab, PE, science lab, and library every week. Older students can get on a tech challenge or basketball team, and all 6th graders go to science camp. After school, a teacher started an anime club this year and for extra fees band, Mad Science, and drawing lessons are offered. The first few years here, I wasn't as happy with Maloney because it seemed like it was a waystation for nearby schools that were doing better, and it was disruptive and unstable for kids to come and go all the time. I'm more impressed with the school in recent years and plan to transfer my younger child to Maloney.

We had some reservation for this school. Being new in the state and the rating being 7 made us paranoid. But this school is super awesome. My daughter loves Mrs Anderson and the other staff. I have seen lots of improvement in here academics in just 2 months. Mr wood is quiet congenial and accessible. I would rate this school 10/10.

My daughter goes to Maloney elementary and she loves it. I love small schools, because it gives you a chance to really get to know everybody. My daughter has Mrs Nebris and absolutely loves her, me to she always calls me when I have a question and she always keeps me in the loop with my daughter. I have nothing but good things to say about Maloney.

My son loves his teacher and I like the way teacher clarifies the topic and clear all his doubts and questions in his eager mind. I love the raising a reader program that encourages students for reading.
