Rude and useless Principal who is ruining the life of kids. He does not put any efforts to improve the standards of school.

I'm a sixth grader whose been here since first grade at this school and I will say it's a pretty good school. The downsides are the rude principal and how cheap we are. We didn't even do a mini graduation while all the other schools did, and it's just depressing. Most teachers are overall amazing. I've only came across four bad teachers, but trust me, it's not that bad. But it's mostly luck based and your personality with the teacher you get, it just depends on the relationship you have. I've definitely learned a lot here so it's a great place to learn at. We have many smart people and many teachers to support us. The other students are hardworking and there are only a few distracting and misbehaving people. The safety here isn't the whole best. The school is very open, and anyone can easily walk in, but thankfully I've never encountered a dangerous situation here. There are very few physical fights between students and almost no bullying. The teacher's punishments are pretty mild and absolutely NO physical or mental harm is done. The Special ED teachings are okay. I've seen a few teachers that seem to yell at the kids but it's mostly out of frustration and I'm positive they still care for them it's just a way for them to learn. I've spent time with the kids before as a school activity and I can tell they learned a lot and are really smart. Great Special ED teaching. The family engagement is pretty good. There's a wonderful PTA community welcoming everyone and is very sweet. The counselling is amazing! The teachers are very, very understanding and the counsellor is very nice. This is definitely the best place for emotional support, Glenmoor cares a lot.I would recommend this school for people willing to learn. It's a good community and everyone would be happy to have your child here.

Glenmoor school is great. I have 2 kids in this school and they love their teachers. My youngest son needs extra help at school and his teachers go above and beyond to meet his highest potential, but all teachers at Glenmoor are very dedicated to their students. The Principal is very involve and dedicated in the school community, as well as our PTA.

My 2nd grade son LOVES this school. It helps to grow your child academically, but not pushing them so hard to make them dislike school. Before every summer ends, my son can't wait to get back to this school to study and hang out with his friends. I wouldn't move him to any other school.

Glenmoor Elementary is a gem of a school located within a wonderful community in Fremont, CA. Parent involvement and PTA is paramount and because of their generous commitment of time and energy many programs such as Glenmoor Musical Theater, Gold Rush Days, Wildcats on the Run, Olympic Day, Science Night, and many more are possible. This year we are "Going Green" and instituting sustainable recycling programs to generate cash for trash at our school and this wouldn't be possible without the efforts of the administration, teachers, students and parents. The principal is amazing with innovative ideas and he plays a mean game of 4 square with the kids. We feel so fortunate to be a part of this Great School!!

My son has attended Glenmoor Elementary since Kindergarten and he is now in fourth grade. This school has improved quite a bit since he first started and keeps getting better. In 2012, Glenmoor was presented the California Distinguished School Award. The school is a high performance school with students from diverse socio-economic and racial backgrounds. Glenmoor has a strong PTA with a lot of parent involvement. The teachers and staff are amazing. Glenmoor's new principal, Mr. Benevides, is very dedicated to the students and is currently bringing many after school programs to the school. Glenmoor is a great school in a great neighborhood!

Many good teachers have left Glenmoor because of the principal's lack of support and her disrespectful attitude toward them. The principal is an ineffective administator with a hostility against anyone who may disagree with her and will retaliate against them. The reputation of this school will continue to decline under the leadership of this principal.
