My children thrived at Weibel. It gave them a great start in life academically and socially and I can't say enough about the wonderful teachers that taught them. Positive, safe environment with plenty of activities to keep the children engaged!

Best school ever, with great teachers. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Extra credit to the school for providing extra activities for the kid. Also kudos to the chess club in the school too.

Wonderful school. I have no words to express what a wonderful feeling is to see my kid growing safe and happy, going every day to school to learn new things and socialize with friends in a secure place with well prepared and highly qualified teachers

What a great school, never regret putting my kids into this school. The best school among all. My kids have been to James Letch School, compare to the environment wise Weibel is far much better than. This school provides a lot of after programs such as basketball, chess club and etc. The teachers are great and very helpful.

Good school . I couldn't have asked for a better experience at Weibel. The staff treated everyone as equals, and fellow class and schoolmates made everyday at school special for my kid. From Kindergarten through 6th grade, my teachers made sure the student got a good education, as well as good manners. All the curriculum I learned in elementary school carried on throughout what I learn till this day.

It is a great school. The teachers are excellent and dedicated, my kid love Weibel so much . There are many club after school such as chess club, and etc.

The classroom teacher was great in every grade. My kid really enjoy the schools , there are clubs that good for kids especially chess. Chess in Weibel is consider the best in my kid year .

My son just graduated elementary . This has been an amazing school past 5 years. Exceptional teachers and administrative staff. Very rich culture for academics, sports and extra curricular activities. Chess program has been amazing. I cannot thank and appreciate teaching staff enough for adapting teaching tools and delivery during pandemic year so well. Inspite of all remote learning challenges- teachers made sure it was an fantastic year for the students.

I was walking to the classroom for a class event. When I was near the playground, I heard a kid crying very loud and it sounds like my kid. I went and check. Sure enough that is my son sitting on the ground crying. About 5 steps away there was a teacher, who definitely saw him and didn't do anything. I walked up to her and ask if she knew what happened. That teacher looked at me and raise her sandwich in her hand, say "this is my lunch break, I am not on duty, I don't need to answer any question". Then she looked away. Seriously?? Another teacher (who might be the "on duty" one) came. I asked her again but apparently she was somewhere else (big playground) and didn't know what happen. After my kid calmed down, I asked him what happened. Good, it was some playground bullies which started the whole thing. We switched to a private school soon after and now he is happy and making friends. Nice friends.

More diversity would help. This school (especially parents) need to stress less on homework, academic activities and a lot of activities in general. Often times I see kids revolt but their feedback is not heeded. I worry that this will shunt their overall development.If the teachers compensated for this highly competitive environment by letting things loose a bit, that would help the kids overall.All kids look very bright. Attending one of the sessions where they invite parents looked like all the kids were interested. However in the neighborhood I often find (and have seen this with two kids already) that they are way too focused on academics. They don't seem to be enjoying themselves and feel burdened at this young age.My feeling about this school is neutral and that is not because of the teachers and school staff, but the overall experience the kid gets with the demographics, neighborhood, parent culture.

I am a parent at Weibel. I have had a daughter attend k-6 and now I have a son who is in the fourth grade. The teachers at Weibel are great. They go above and beyond to support all of their students and are available to the parents if needed. They are creative and spend countless hours preparing for our children. My only disappointment is with the continual changes in the front office and the the office staff. The new principal, Mrs. Strommen is creating new rules and not getting parent input. She isn't accessible to the parents and my child has come home several times complaining that she is mean and scary. You hardly see her with the children and you cannot meet her unless you have an appointment. The front office staff is also not friendly. They play favorites and they are quite grouchy. An office is somewhere you go to ask questions and get answers but not this one! If you step foot in there you are probably going to be greeted with unpleasant attitude from the main head secretary. So, I give the school 4 stars for the teachers and less one for the administration and office staff
