this school ruined my son's life he came home everyday crying his freshman year saying people dump him in trash cans and more. My son was also racially profiled saying the teachers were treating him differently because of his color. Do not send your children here.

This school is amazing. It provides a supportive environment for students to get what they need and a variety of extra curricular activities to engage students in what they enjoy.

the school will acidemicly prepare you If you take AP. Outside of AP classes I’m not even sure how the teachers or staff got hired. Actually embarrassing

I love Vanden High especially their music program! My son has blossomed into a fine young man because of that program.

Great school! Wish they did more to acknowledge the scholars and not just the athletes. My son has been well prepared for university and will be applying to UC Berkeley, Davis, UCI and CalPoly SLO. Thanks Vanden!

I'm currently attending Vanden and it's practically a good school around our area. It has both a GREAT academic program and sports program. The only thing is that they took down the lockers so now seniors nor underclassmen get lockers which is devastating because we have to carry tons of books around. And the high school is old and looks run down and I hope they can upgrade it ASAP.

I graduated from Vanden last year. I would agree that it is a bit overcrowded, but it's a small price to pay to go to the best school in the area. It prepared me well for college. The AP courses are taught well. Good, friendly teachers that care. The school has some pretty good sports programs as well. It's a bit more fun to root for your school when they tend to win. If you're living in the fairfield/Vacaville area, this is the school you want to go to.

Principal Sandi Reese is outstanding at Vanden High School. She is responsive to all situations and promotes all aspects of school life for the students involved. The Guidance Counselors are supportive and really listen to your concerns. All of the teachers genuinely care about their student population. The sports program, music department and extracurricular activities provide endless possibilities for the would be student attending this high school. As a parent it gives me peace of mind to know that my child is safe at this high school as there are many hall monitors there to help supervisor the campus.

Vanden High School is over crowded with 40 kids in a classroom. The district needs to consider expanding the school. The school need to have their cafeteria area inside and 9th-11th grade should also have lockers. Considering the upcoming housing market, I hope expansion for the high school is part of the district/city plans.

Great school! Vanden High offers a wide selection of classes and prepares students to continue onto college. The teachers and staff do an excellent job and really care about the students.

This school is extremely horrible. I say this because of trash and bullying. I do not recommend your students especially incoming freshmans to this school

My child is currently attending Vanden HS. The school is alright compare to the other HS in Fairfield. The only bad think in my opinion is their sports program. The athletic director doesn't really get involve and has no clue on what's going on with the school sports. I guess he is just there for the title and the pay check. Their basketball program is NO good and only won 1 game throughout the season last year. I think its time to make a change Mr. Athletic director, please start doing your job so Vanden can have a better season. Hint, hint, hint!!!

I just recently left Vanden and moved to another school in sacramento. When I attended Vanden, I use to complain about the school all the time but only now do I realize how good I had it there. I had a beeter learning enviroment at Vanden and I learned alot more than I am currently learning. I regret leaving and if I had the oppotunity to go back to Vanden I definently would.
