Have have multiple issues with teachers and their way of teaching. They don't take the time to try to explain assignments in a different way for some students that may have a different way of understanding/learning. I understand that there are a lot of kids in each class but you should never call a parent in the middle of class while you make the child stand at the desk and belittle them infront of the entire room while leaving a message for the parents. I feel there has to be a better way of getting through to the student.

I've had 2 child graduate from here, and two currently enrolled. The teachers really care about the students, and Mr Bennett is a fabulous Principle who put our kids first at all times!

I loved my daughters teach at this school. My Only issue was the principal, he allows the kids to fight with no consequences.... I took my daughter out of this school wish was walking distance from our home, I wish they'd replace the principal and regroup, we'd be back.

My daughter transferred to Laurel Creek 2/3 of the way through the school year. Her teacher was great and she adjusted quite nicely in her new school. I was pleased with her Kindergarten teacher and am looking forward to her starting first grade.

I have had nothing but excellent service in the office. The teachers are caring and respectful. Formative testing is every week and that really helps the class improve and focus on weak areas. The school has achieved the Distinguished School Award for the State of California. That means they must be doing something right. I do wish that the district would increase the nursing hours at each school site. The children need that extra help. Also, add back the music and PE programs. Our students need that extra that the music teacher and PE teacher gives.

Overall I am very happy with Laurel Creek Elementary. My son has had a great educationally experience. The teachers seems to really care about their students and make themselves available to parents whenever needed. Mr. Stockman (Principal), is willing to work with you and find the best fit for your child. We have a great PTA team that provide great social events for the kids. Other than that can't blame the school for the government's poor decision making skills (or lack thereof).

My two son's both have attended this school since last fall. We have been very impressed with it. Our youngest son struggled at an award winning school in Napa county last year, yet this year at Laurel Creek, his teacher Ms Storey is wonderful. She said he is doing wonderfully. We can't thank her enough for being such a great teacher to our son. I would recommend this elementary school to any parent looking to buy a home in the area. The neighborhood is great too.
