We are really grateful for the experience our child has at CES. I would recommend this school without reservations.

My daughter is currently enrolled and is in first grade. We had a fantastic Kindergarten teacher (Ms. Houser) who was possibly the best teacher I (as a parent) could ask for. Mr. Lee is great! Engaging with the students and genuinely cares about each child that walks through the door.

Principal Lee is engaged with the parents and students and a joy to interact with. Ms. Matthews is great as well and so is Ms. Williams from third grade! She was my son's teacher this past year. We relocated to this area last year and I was really concerned about my son's transition as he has ADHD. Ms. Williams went above and beyond to ensure that he had all of the tools he needed to be successful academically. She also communicated areas of concern and engaged in very candid, productive conversation, which armed me with ideas on how to reinforce her instruction with my son at home. So far, I love CES!

I have a hard time comprehending that people have had a bad experience here. I've put three children through this school within several years apart and each had an amazing experience. They do everything to get parents involved and they care about all their students. We made sure when we bought our house that we stayed in this area so my youngest could go here. Love it!

I love this school! I have a child in Special Ed and one in Regular Ed. Both students are receiving a quality education. We moved to this area just for this school. The teachers care and provide top notch learning opportunities. The principal is awesome!

they ALWAYS close the door at car-riders before their closing time which is 8:15 making my kid late just because they feel they have to teach working parents a lesson. They need to understand that some parents can barely make it on time as it is and if they close the doors too early the kids will always be late.

My son is in third grade and is thriving at CES. Each teacher has made an impression on him that he will carry with him throughout his school career. Administration is great and Mr. Lee is always visible and available to address any concerns that may arise. He is what an elementary school principal should be - approachable. Overall we could not be happier.

The school makes an effort to deter parental involvement in the education of our children. They lock the doors, try to keep parents out of classrooms without prior consent and approval (even for parents and guardians). I guess they forgot this is a PUBLIC school. The administrators seem to think they know what is best for other peoples children and that they have the right to decide who should be allowed to help and who shouldn't based on and at their own discrimination. Raises suspicion that they are hiding something?!? Complaints to the district go back to the school, so i guess there is no hope. If you like to be involved in your child's education and help out in the classroom, this is definitely not the school for you, find a different school, there are better ones all around; unfortunately, because there are many good teachers at the school, but the admin is a bunch of bullies!

I absolutely love Chattahoochee Elementary! My kids have been here for 2 and 4 years, respectively, and the teachers chosen for my kids have matched their needs and personalities perfectly. The principal, Mr. Lee, is very approachable, kind and responsive. When we were making a decision on whether to send our first child to a public or private school, I e-mailed Mr. Lee and asked if I could meet with him to talk about the school. He, personally, responded to me and we met for 45 minutes. I wanted to hug him when I left. Still today, 4 years later, he is the same person. He greets the kids continually throughout the day and gives them morning hugs. He knows both of my kids by their names. As for the teachers, one example of extraordinary care, is regarding my son. He has fine motor weakness but only tested 1 standard deviation below average in one area, which many of you know does not get you an IEP. My son's teacher created a daily plan to help him with his fine motor with a daily check list and 5 week reward system. He has improved tremendously! I have been exceptionally happy with Chattahoochee.

Do you even care!!! What actually gives you 9 Rank on great schools? 9 in academics or 9 in being unable to defend minorities or 9 in unable to stop racism that happens everyday under your nose. The teachers and principle should be ashamed of themselves letting kids do this to other kids. i don't know how you set your kids to high morals, but this is disgusting. This one star is actually -5 rating from me. Cheers

Great school, teachers really care and invest in teaching students to learn! The office faculty seems to be a little out of touch and charges parents to pick up their children after school, this is unacceptable.

My daughter is a kindergartener at CES and she absolutely loves it! Both Mrs. Chancey and Mrs. Keller have been great. My daughter has had a wonderful first year at CES and is looking forward to first grade.

I am a parent whose child will be attending Chattahoochee in August 2014 for Kindergarten. I read great reviews about the school and thought we made the right choice about moving into this area. I called to ask about Kindergarten registration (I did not know everything was on the website) and the lady at the front desk who answered my call was completely rude. She flat out just said, "Uhh... well everything is on the website." I asked just to confirm that my son HAS to come with me to go and she responded with, "Uhh, yeah that's what it says on the website." I couldn't even finish saying goodbye, have a great day before she hung up on me. I was very disappointed in that. I am hoping the teachers are different and that I don't have to deal with the front desk too often. It's such a shame that they have that type of person as the face of their school with all the great reviews I read.

My daughter has passed out of this school and it is an amazing school with good teachers and a very dedicated principal. My sin still goes to his school and I love it.

I LOVE Chattahoochee!!! The staff is absolutely amazing and the parent involvement is one to be proud of. My daughter is in kindergarten and has the most amazing teacher (Mrs. Chancey). The school is so diverse with different cultures. It is a great place to start your child's school career!

If you looking for kindness and customer service from a front office... Don't look here! If you're looking for kindness and understanding in a car riders line, again don't look here! As a transfer in 2013, I'm so disgusted by the insensitive teachers and staff who work in these areas. There needs go be more guidance and direction and this should come from the Principal, Jeff Lee. Its not happening. Hoping to transfer back to Collins Hill

Chattahoochee elementary is a wonderful school, kids are expose to a worldly environment with so many nationalities represented in the classroom everyday. Is an example of what American schools should be like. Focusing mainly in academics and the children's unique needs. Mr. Lee pays special one to one atencion to the children and is very much involved with their progress at all times. I'm so happy we chose to live here because my daughter is growing up in a great community with solid values and teachers that go out of their way to meet my child's academic needs.

We are very happy with the school overall. The staff is friendly and helpful. Mr. Lee the principal is very dedicated to the children and is always open to fresh ideas on how to motivate the children to improve in all areas of their education. The teachers are so dedicated to the children, the Kindergarten teachers work very hard to include fun and play into the learning process. My child loves to go to school and feels valued by her teachers. The PTA is strong and active, they make parent involvement fun and easy. The entire school is very inclusive with all of the programs and extra curricular activities, it serves to bridge the gap between family, fun and education not being just in the classroom, but in all facets of a student/family's life.

Not so great school. Worry too much on the student's lateness and not on the student's performance. Lack of encouragement to the kids. Not much Homework .Very disappointed.
