EXCELENTE HIGH SCHOOL, ME ENCANTA LA COMUNIDAD QUE AQUI ESTUDIA!! AUNQUE SÍ DEBO ESCRIBIR, QUE DEBERIA EXISTIR UN CODIGO DE VESTIMENTA PARA LAS CHICAS, YA QUE LA MAYORÍA SE VISTE INADECUADAMENTE PARA ESTAR EN LA ESCUELA.

This school just makes you want to cheat so you can get good grades because if you don't you'll be seen as stupid. Literally 5% of the school is hispanic (what i am) and all the asians and white kids get all the attention for being "smart". I highly do not recommend this school.

I am at my second year of Northview and have decided to switch schools. The students at this school only care about grades and getting into Ivy League schools. I have even seen kids cry over getting a 98! The students pressure their peers to also score that high, or else they are seen as stupid. The teachers don't do anything to stop this and often encourage it. the school doesn't really care about sports and really only cares about maintaining the image of an overachieving, super-smart high school! Please do not send your children here!

My experience made me want to drop out of high school and I was very close to. Despite the massive untreated anxiety and depression in the area the school made no effort to assist those with mental illness

horrible administration, especially the Downey the principal. He doesnt hire good teachers. School has definitely gone down since Downey became principal. Some parts of the school is very dirty as well. Horrible experience.

Great school. Dedicated teachers, beautiful grounds, professional faculty and staff. Overall a wonderful experience. The entire community rallies around this school.

My son has Down syndrome. He is the first student with that condition to attend this high school. You see, children with Down syndrome are sent to a different school in a self contained environment. This is against the law and what my son and other children with Down syndrome deserve and are entitled to under the law is to be in the least restrictive environment and the appropriate modifications. However, the administration of Northview High School, after 8 weeks of school, without doing the appropriate modifications and support, wants to ship him to a self-contained environment. This is called discrimination and segregation. We, as this student's parents are willing to work to make those modifications. The school doesn't want anything to do with it. In fact, they purposely wanted to exclude him from participating in a chorus presentation. His chorus teacher, after 8 weeks of school, informed us that our son wouldn't be singing in a presentation because he was not able to learn all the lyrics. Our son is verbal and he takes private music lessons on Saturdays. #northviewhighschool needs to get on with the times and the law for children with Down syndrome.

My daughter is a student at Northview High School. It is an awesome school. Teachers and counselors are very nice. The environment in school is good. Students are friendly. Academic level Is very high at the same time it has lots of sports activities and club activities to choose from. My daughter like this school very much and as a parent, I am glad too that I selected this school for my daughter.

Northview will push you to your limits, and mold you into an efficient and well-developed student. I have never once felt threatened or unsafe at school, and the diversity, acceptance, and overall friendliness of this school fosters a great high school experience. When I think of my time at Northview (all four years), I think of two things: the rigorous academics and expansive diversity. I think of how much I've grown, from a freshman to a senior, from a stressed out procrastinator to an efficient time manager. I think of Northview's International Night, where so many cultures are represented and celebrated, where tickets are sold out every year, and where the students SCREAM ON their friends on stage for their multitude of cultural performances. Northview is not perfect though. Students can get carried away in the competitiveness, and can be led to cheat. Some teachers are pretty bad, and incompetent at teaching, however, when I think back to my time at Northview, the pros definitely outweigh the cons, and I am so glad I went to such a great high school.

It's a good school, but some teachers can be very dramatic and send kids to ISS for some very dumb reasons. The classes are good. However the lady police officer is VERY rude. She calls some students "thots." Very rude to students. Trust me, I know, I'm a student myself. She's one of the people who I'm NOT gonna miss when I move. The school's full potential seems to have gone down since Mr. Downey came. He's a good guy who enforces PBIS but he doesn't hire the best people.

This school is great, very interactive and to me this school did change my perspective on my future. If you want to send your kid here, do it! I love the organized clubs and programs, I love the teachers! This school has a rich history as in my memory here. I simply love this school :-) Titan Pride, also the officers here make the school seem very safe! I'm currently a junior about to be a senior next year. Can't wait to graduate THIS high school. Thanks to all the teachers and staffs for making my experience here a really memorable experience, the teaching, the motivation many of the teachers here is simply amazing. Their charisma and knowledge and the way they can adapt teaching methods to certain environments of a classroom. That's just pro right there. Never in my life did I see so many great teachers! If I could send my kid later on in the future here, it would be a must. Let's go Titans! -HK

NHS is great. I don't know what this guy was talking about below, but this school is very social. Everyone is respectful towards everyone and sociable. The academics at NHS are tough, but if you work hard and prepare it is very doable. I am currently a freshman and have had a life changing experience. I can't wait for my next 3 years

Very high academics, best publich high school test scores in Georgia. Wide variety of clubs and athletic programs, with several state champions. Nearby Johns Creek and Chatahoochee high schools are very good, but Northview beats them on SAT scores.

It's funny, Johns Creek HS got a "10" and seriously low parent ratings. This school got a "9" with incredible ratings. Great job!

This is one of the best schools in the state. It has a diverse, friendly student body that welcomes new students with ease. The classes are difficult and challenge students and make them strive for success. There are over 100 different clubs and activities at Northview ranging and our Lacrosse and Tennis teams are amazing! The counselors are helpful, and the teachers offer one on one after/before school help sessions. Over 30 AP (Advanced Placement) courses are offered in a variety of subjects ranging from Psychology to Environmental Science. I strongly reccomend this school to anyone who wants their children to have a great education in a healthy learning environment with tons of extracurricular activities.

As everybody has mentioned, Northview is a very difficult school acedemically. There are some very good teachers and some very bad teachers, like at any public school. I have had 2 kids graduate from Northview and I have one who will be a junior this year. The two that graduated from Northview are doing great in college and find college easier than Northview was. The only complant I would have with Northview is that there seems to be a lack of school pride/support for some of the athletic teams. (It maybe that kids are too busy working on projects or studying to attend athletic events!) Otherwise, I believe Norhtview does what a high school should and that is to prepare kids for college and life after school. It will be interesting to see how or if the new principal changes things (The previous principal was only there a few years after the original principal retired and she did not work to improve anything that we noticed).
