My son left this school after last year and we had multiple unfortunate experiences with bullying. Our son was treated as if he was the problem and was suspended on several occasions as a 4th grader. His emotional well-being was jeopardized severely by the educators and staff who did nothing to support him. He was constantly made to feel like he was the issue. In our new school he’s done nothing but thrive this year. Truly consider the idea that Johns Creek produces some of the best schools before you register your child here. If I could do it over, we never would have attended.

"In our experience, this school has a great social and welcoming environment. We came here directly from Colombia eighteen months ago, and all staff, teachers, and parents have been very warm with us. Our daughter is really happy going to the school. We were considering to move her to a private school, but finally, we decided to continue here, and we are totally convinced that we made the best choice.".

This school is top notch! We moved my daughter from private to SBCE a few years ago given the school ratings, and it has 100% lived up. Every teacher we’ve had takes extra care to personalize learning for each child depending on their level. And the school also stresses values…kindest group of parents and kids!!

We recently purchased a house in this school district and was apprehensive about SBCE as it didn't have typical 9 or 10 rating.. I:m far more pleased and happy with our experience so far.The front office staff and teachers and the principal are very nice and welcoming. My son is in 2nd grade and his home room teacher is excellent, super organized, great at teaching, communicating with parents. There are plent of afterschool clubs and activities to choose at the school.LOVE this SCHOOL. Should be rated 10/10

This school is going the down a lot! Classes are oversized with more than 30 students, and the even more worse is that they tried to put the students who are not doing better in the same classes! My daughter was very lucky when she was at the 3 grade because she has a very caring homeroom teacher! But her 4 grade homeroom teacher not cared at all! She did not email me or sent home a schedule paper of conference! After this summer, she is going to 5 grade. hopefully, she is going to have a caring home room teacher!

The teachers are actively engaging the students throughout the day. Our daughter comments the teachers engage here more than the other Fulton County school she attended.

The teacher's are amazing here! They are dedicated and caring. We could not be happier. The front office staff always have a smile, everyone wants to be there and it shows throughout the school day experience. I have had lunch with my son, sat in on a class being a parent reader, observing the vibe and it's great. We attended the fall festival and it really is a great time. The principal is extremely gracious and I highly recommend this school.

The teacher and my 4 year old just didnt bond. He would come home telling me things like " I dont care where you sit " , " I am super bad" . The principal was trying to make the situation better. I had enough didn't want to make my son feel miserable anymore. He is just 4 and I didn't want him to start hating school. I guess we were unlucky and got a horrible teacher.

State Bridge Crossing Elementary School is the ABSOLUTE BEST SCHOOL IN THE WORLD! The staff is the very best!! I even had a growth spurt this past year by allowing my daughter to go to Tybee with the 5th graders!! She had a great time! Ms. Hopkins, Ms. Crawford, Ms. Treywick and Mr. Martin are angels.... I watch Mr. Martin interact with our kids and see how they respond to him! He is truly a GREAT GUY AND A GREAT PRINCIPLE!! I have caught myself the last couple weeks being very sad about this being her last year with these great people! My daughter has a real love for learning since attending State Bridge and the school and staff are the reasons she genuinely cares so much! How do we as parents express the true gratitude we feel for these very special people? Katie once ran out of lunch money and The Principal has an account set up where if the students run out of money, he pays for it! He smiled politely and said, "These are my kids, and look at Katlin, how can i make her eat a cheese sandwich for lunch"! What a true blessing SBCE school is for our family, our community, and our precious children.. Love to all, W. Sharp
