This school is completely racist. The principle will not provide any mental support rather they will mentally harass kids. Do not send your kids to this school. If your kid is shy, they will ruin your kid's life.

This school is SO horrifying!! There are kids that get into fights, the teachers are mean or unfair! One kid had to sign the book (really bad thing to get) for NOT UNDERSTANDING A MATH QUESTION! Teachers won't even let you use the bathroom or go to the clinic when your sick, My son had to deal with a whole fever for an hour! and don't even get me started with the lunch food my son GOT A BAD STOMACH FOR 4 WHOLE DAYS! and you can barely talk before the teachers get all noisy and you can't even chew gum! Apparently, they also treat the students like 7 year olds because when you say sh*t or d*mb you get in trouble! there are only some good teachers like the Orchestra and P.E. and some of the teachers target your child specifically. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL UNLESS IT'S YOUR LAST OPTION

I really like this school better than anything other school around! They really take pride in making students involved in activities like 8th grade dance, hullabaloo and other activities. I think that some activities are a bit too young for the older grades though so i guess thats why they have 8th grade dance. The only thing though, around the last day of school, there was a big fight in 6th grade during connections and our orchestra teacher told us that some people even got suspended for just standing near the fight which makes no sense at all! i agree they shouldn't be there but thats just crazy. They need a better restroom system too, near the last week of school we couldn't even use the bathrooms by ourselves, we had to go as a class because of people doing stuff in the bathroom. Most teachers are nice depending on how you act. Most teachers actually assign work but if you get lucky one of my teachers just gave easy digital assignments and it was kind of like a relaxing free period because only some were for a grade. looking forward to my last year here! I also just wish they had better connections sometimes, and i wish that you can pick your connections in your last year. Because theres no gurentee you will get the ocnnections u want unless you get orchestra band or chorus. Also in 7th grade there are absoloutley no feild trips whatesoever.

I just left this school. It was a horrible experience. The teachers give unfair treatment. I was once a bystander when a Fight happened and apparently the next thing I know it I am getting suspended for just being there they didn’t even let me explain anything. Don’t even get me started on the food I took bite out of my burger and a bunch of blood and just water came out. Everything about this School ruined my middle school experience and traumatized me. I hate how ugly people always was the one to bring people down. I feel like the School gives people know say in anything and that you just shouldn’t go here. They literally treat us like prisoners. Bad food, Horrible teachers with attitudes who are so petty. Last but not least this school is the worst

Very bad. Mrs. McClellan and Mr. Herbert are only good teachers. Students are mean and ugly. Food is horrendous and you will get served crusty noodles.

I am currently an 8th grader at Hull middle school enrolled for the 2021-2022 school year and what I have experienced here is disgusting and disappointing. First of all this school offers no services to its L.G.B.T students. The 8th grade assistant principal is homophobic and extremely rude and disrespectful to students. The dress code is extremely sexist and targeted at women. I have been discriminated against because of my sexuality and gender identity. Do not go to this school if you are a woman or a member of the LGBT because you automatically have a target on your back. This school has judged me unfairly because of my record before even getting to meet me. This entire schools rules and ideas are extremely outdated. This school needs to be improved because coming here everyday is damaging to my mental health. Students are not given any support mentally. If you prefer a different name your parents have to go and sign documents or else they WILL deadname you. The admin pays more attention to dress code than to actual problems going on within the building. The school has a massive problem with homophobia, sexism and racism. Slurs are being tossed around like hot potato. Please do not enroll your kids here because they will struggle with their mental health after being enrolled and teachers wont care at all.

I could not be happier with the school, teachers and leadership. It is very clear that the students are priority at this school.

I can't think of another middle school I'd want to attend other than Richard Hull Middle School. It is a hub of great students and faculty that are so very supportive and kind. These past 3 years have only been beneficial to me. I've made great friends and been taught by the most amazing teachers ever! If you want to send your kid here, you will want to do everything you can to get him her into gifted classes and encourage them to try to do the same. So many opportunities are given at Hull.

In my last 3 years, I have learned a LOT. The teachers I've had and met are amazing, and I just think this is a wonderful job. The library is awesome. Hull offers many many extra curriculars including Robotics, Art Club, Running Club, Academic Team, Math Team, Chess Club, Green Team, Student Council, Jazz Band, Wyldlife, Fiddle Club, Science Club, Intramurals, Cheer, and Basketball. The connection classes are Physical Education, Art, Tech Education, Orchestra, Band, Chorus, Spanish, and French. The school is clean because the custodians really work hard everyday. Some people say that the lunch food isn't great, but you can always bring lunch from home. The school is really focused on letting students succeed. As I've said before, the teachers here are amazing! Of the 12 academic teachers I've had, I can't say I really dislike any of them. They really made my middle school experience the best it could possibly be.

As a former student there 10 years ago, I must highly suggest you do not put your child through the traumatizing experience of this middle school. This was not a school. It was a boot camp. As a teacher now, I would say this is one of the worst environments for a child to grow. The administration was cruel and the teachers are ones who couldn't get hired in an elementary or high school and got stuck teaching middle school. They hate their students almost as much as their students hate them.

Thankful this is my last year dealing with this school. The teachers are horrible. And the administration is worst. I suggest parents consider other schools in the district, if possible. My 2 star rating was generous.

This school is way overcrowded. The amount of bullying is unbelievable. Even when students have documented proof and other students report what has happened, nothing is done. The schools reputation is the number 1 priority. Every 8th grade student event had to be closed early due to students drinking and acting up. Having had 3 different children attend Hull with the same problems all throughout the years, I am very thankful to be done with them!!

Hull is one of the worst schools i have ever been to. After coming from a different school....hull was a major setback. First off.....you cant talk in the hallways. "Silent transition" is what they call it. Second...there are a bunch of stupid rules there. For example......there are multiple signs in the hallway that says you cant use the water fountain in between classes. Why? What are the possible benefits of having this rule? For What? Teachers often assign unreasonable homework. The school is also extremely crowded. You have only 3 minutes to get to class. On some days.....over 1/3 of the class may be late. This is definitely problem. This is not a very good school at all.

Wonderful morals, values and commitment to teach the children responsible behavior. Teachers are smart and current and relevant to todays culture.

My child is new at this school and so far, I have been extremely disappointed. On the first day of school, the bus did not pick-up my child from the bus stop and when I called to talk to someone at the school, the answering machine came on and then when the message was done playing, the phone disconnected. Tonight, I went to the school open house and when I asked if my student could pick-up/drop-off books at the locker between classes, I was told that they don't have any books and therefore didn't need to pick-up/drop-off books at the locker. I find this interesting given the fact that they have several workbooks and I've carried the backpack full of them and they weigh about half my child's bodyweight. More importantly, when I asked this question of the teacher, I was completely brushed off and not listened to at all. If this is the way all teachers at the school behave, I would suggest you enroll your child in another school.

Great school. Fine arts are a little weak, but growing again. The building is old however, that's the biggest downside. But it's definitely making good progress.

This school has alot to be desired. There is NO parent involvement because they don't want it. You get very little, if any, communication. They watch movies and power points in class, then have an outrageous amount of homework. My son had his phone taken away while checking for a msg from me AFTER school. Yet the teachers are allowing the students in each class to use their phone to vote for the school in a contest. Are rules only good when they want them to be?
