Es una excelente escuela, tiene muy buenos maestros y muy bien preparados de acuerdo a cada nivel de clase, las clases AP's tienen maestros a nivel doctorado tal como debe de ser una clase universitaria, en las clases de honores tambien muy buenos maestros.Los consejeros tambien siempre estan a nuestra disposicion, siempre contestan cualquier duda y preocupacion como padre y muy buen trato a nuestros estudiantes.El personal de la oficina siempre atento y con traduccion linguistica a nuestras necesidades.En general todo el personal siempre muy atento.Como campus DHS es un excelente lugar, diversidad de clases, clubs, edificios destinados para cada area y en muy buen estado y limpio.En general estoy muy contenta con el aprendizaje que han tenido mis 2 hijas en esta escuela, mi primera hija logro ir a una Universidad Internacional gracias a su buen nivel academico y mi segunda hija esta en el ultimo año, esperando tener aceptacion a una buena universidad ya que ella siempre a estado en el cuadro de honor desde el 9th grado, siempre con un GPA 4.5 o arriba.

Excelentes instalaciones, muy buenos maestros y un entorno estudiantil muy agradable.Estoy muy contenta con la educacion academica de mis hijas en esta escuela Downey High School.

Terrible. There is ongoing bullying, violence (on campus fights) that staff is unaware of, students who run in groups and start trouble that staff is aware of but they turn a bind eye to. The teachers and staff show up collect a paycheck & go home. There are a few instructors that really care but very few.

As a proud alumni of Downey High, I look back at my 4 years with great memories and a desire to one day have children attend the school. The teachers care for their students progress and go the extra mile to see that no one is left behind. The counselors work with not only the students but with the teachers and parents to make sure you succeed. It doesn't surprise me that former students return to the school as teachers once they've finished their education.

As a proud alumni of Downey High, I must say I had a wonderful experience all four years. Teachers were supportive and helpful, coaches were motivating and all the staff was always friendly and willing to lend a hand. Id like to say i learned a lot, i grew a lot and look forward to seeing my boys graduate from my alma mater!

i attend Downey high and i really enjoy the atmosphere there and im very astonished of how greatly the teachers want to help their students succeed by working late hours to help tutor students. I'm also very pleased with all the amazing opportunities Downey High has to offer here such as: sports, clubs, dance, cheer, and all the amazing clubs they have which helps a student what their true passion is and what they would love to accomplish with their many years to come after high school. In my opinion I believe no one would find such a more qualified, excellent school as this one in the area, I honestly don't know what opportunities this school does not offer. The students here are very fortunate to come here and receive these great highly trained and very fun to be around teachers.

When I went here in the 90's, I hated it. Now that I am finding High Schools for my own kids, I miss Downey. It was a well ran, well maintained school. Unlike the ones here in Texas. Miss this place, one of the best.

This school is truly wonderful. The students and staff do so much for the community and for people in need. We are blessed to have this amazing school in our area.

This is the best high school in the area! The teachers and faculty care about their students. There are plenty of things to do at the school and whenever your child needs help teachers will be there for them. I am currently a senior about to graduate and I love it. All of the sports teams at this school are really good. There are many AP classes offered as well. I will recommend this school over any other school in the area!
