Not good. From kindergarten to fourth grade not one teacher I would recommend.

I wanted to love Alameda because it is our neighborhood school; however, I do not. The office staff is rude, and speak to the children in a demeaning manner. They also talk to the parents as if they are nuisances. The PTA only holds meetings in the mornings, making it impossible for working parents to attend and become informed. The school holds fundraisers and creates situations where students are ousted if they do not pay the amount to get them invited to “Pancake Breakfasts” or “ice cream socials”. If you are a struggling parent, as many of us are, your child will pay for it at this school when they are unable to participate in the parties because they didn’t turn in enough money. Alameda’s academic program leaves a lot to be desired. They over populate the classrooms where the teachers are unable to provide quality instruction and or intervention to students. If you are able to choose between Alameda and another school, choose the other one.

this year has been such a horrible year at the school and needs to really get retrain staff and stuff that really wants to be there for the children. You have pink ladies that yell at the children as if they were their children you have a front office staff the true to the parents with special needs. You have a PTA president that did not want to be a PTA president and who would not listen or taken into consideration any suggestions and they only want to stay within their Circle so that's why they don't have different PTA people that want to step up. And even though they have a class dojo for supposedly communication 99.9% of those post have errors so was the whole point of having it get it together

Wonderful. Dedicated, hard working faculty. Professional administration. Pleasantly surprised.

I can't say enough great things about this school! My daughter was part of the EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM SINCE THE AGE OF 4--she's now 6 and graduated Kinder...her teacher Tamika King, Mrs. Kim and staff were AWESOME. My daughter truly learned extensively..the teachers hearts are in this with all the students! Very sincere...was such a great experience! We are forever grateful!

My son will be entering TK this coming year and I find myself not knowing were to put him in school. I wish that more recent comments were available about this school in helping me determine were I should enroll him. The principle at alameda was nice, and the school was clean.

alameda is a great school. I have my son there with a inter permit and dont regret it. He's now entering 1st grade. His kindergarden year was great. he learned so much. Thank you to all the staff and especially his teachers.
