    This school has provided a safe and comfortable environment to both of my children. Good communication and excellent teacher. Parent is vital to make a school great, cannot expect to have a great school if parents dont get involved. I would definitely recommend Imperial Elementary

    Imperial is a Great School. The Principal is Outstanding with her attention to School and kids. All the Teachers are perfect. I know every single person and all i could say is they are the Best in Downey. One of my children attend Alameda School and as far as Teachers and Students. This School was the Best!!! I have made time to check out all the Schools for this grade levels and this is one is the Best. I am a picky parent and I felt comfortable with this one. If your thinking of a Good Downey School then this one is it. Downey also has bus transportation for children and safe drop off locations. Makes it easy to feel secured and comfortable for kids and parents. If you don't mind the School has very strict rules for adults to enter the school, on my opinion is Safe for Children to attend. The Front Office Manager Mrs. Regina is Excellent on Helping with any issue, She's good Person. To kids and as a nurse. If you base the School in appearance you will miss out!! MISS SCHOOL MISS OUT!!

    Great school, great teachers, but lack of parent support is evident at all school functions. It is usually the same people running the same things.
