This is horrible: the staff are rude, the classroom has 38 kids in a class room. Some teacher talk on a microphone so the children in the back can hear them, there are too many children for the teacher to teach. My son be there for 5 years and hardly gets any home work.

Both of my children attended ORS their 4th and 5th grade years. The staff is excellent a d very involved. They did a great job preparing my kids for junior high. Parental involvement could be somewhat better, but I understand it's hard with work schedules. I would highly recommend ORS to anybody considering this school for their child.

My son attended 4th and 5th grade at Old River. This fall my daughter will be doing her last year as a 5th grader. The teachers and staff including the principal Ms. Robbins and the Vice principal Ms. Velasco are very involved with the day to day activities of students. As a parent you feel like they genuinely care about every child. It's an awesome school. My kids have benefited a lot from attending.

this will be my daughters first year here at Old River and i am already disappointed. the Front office staff is very rude, instead of answering my questions face to face she (Susy) who kept insisting that i call her if i had any questions. i dont understand why she couldt answer me right when i was therem she did not seem busy nor where there any other parents enrolling at the time. I asked if we were able to be shown around and since it would be my daughter first time there and she rudely said no, we can come on the first day and look for restrooms, cafefeteria etc. how is someone going to show us onthe first day when im sure it will be a circus. ive also talked to her over the phone and it just seemsn like they want to shew you away, as if we are bothering them.. i will not allow my daughter to come back next year, we are looking to enroll her in a provate school or move out of the district.
