We are fairly new to this district but so far we have received nothing but excellence and welcoming.

Terrible school. This school does not enrich children and help them succeed. They do the minimum required to shuffle kids thru the system. One teacher had enough nerve to sit in front of the class and talk about her mental health due to her divorce and which prescriptions she is taking. My son tried NUMEROUS times to meet with a so called guidance counselor named ALICEN MCLEOD. She is the most sorry excuse for an individual in a school system I have ever seen. She is ALWAYS too busy. She will let you know that she only gets paid x so many hours a month to work. She is a joke. The school district should be embarrassed to employ her. If you confront her after her lack of communication cost your child she once again lets you know she is too busy to speak with you.

The best high school in the District. Just too many kids addicted to their cell phones.

The majority of teachers have no idea how to teach, save a few who actually enjoy their jobs, and some are even working out of their field! The staff are for the most part inflexible, don't care what the students have to say, or are incompetent. Chances are, at Pasco High School, your child will receive the WRONG courses and will take two weeks or more to change it and that's even if they do. They blame this on the 'class size amendment' which is an admirable excuse except they should have gotten it right in the first place ( for example, getting unnecessary classes like a math class when you don't need it). The campus is great, they just poured a lot of money into it, however the textbooks are largely out dated or there aren't enough for every student to have one. The honors classes are like standard 'regular' classes, regular classes are-well you can assume, and the AP classes are challenging. There is virtually no bullying and the SRO is a very nice person. However, overall, I would not recommend Pasco as a 'first choice' high school.

My son was at this school for one year and I am glad I transferred him to another school. He was struggling with his grades and the teachers did not seem to care or help. I made a few visits to the school to talk to them, but they made it seem like it was a nuisance. I'm definitely not letting my youngest son go here.
