An exceptional Elementary School lead by an exceptional Principal. The entire campus has a strong feeling of support and excitement from an incredibly engaged community both in and out of the school. The teachers are, with very few exceptions, top notch educators who are genuinely involved with their students. The entire school embraces a GATE approach teaching not just the elementary school basics, but deep critical thinking, examination, and positive interaction with each other. We are so happy we were placed into Vessels!

VERY GOOD SCHOOL. MY DAUGHTER IS REALLY PUSHING HERSELF TO EXCEL IN HER CLASS

They push their students so that they can be the best and high achiever. This school gives students a chance to explore and learn what they are actually good at. They learn good things about themselves and sending my son to Frank Vessels is not only about the academics but also to find who you really are.Parents/Students/Staff are friendly, kind and helpful. Mrs. J Lee (kindergarten) listen to your concerns and act upon them. My son Lorenzo has made new friends and so have I. Go Bulldogs!!! Congratulation to Class of 2016.

I regret coming to this school. My kids' teachers were mostly bad and ignored the needs of the students. Many teachers like to be absent whenever they feel like to, or even leave the classroom couple hours after bell rang! Communication is bad here; principal ignored my needs and teacher never replied my message or email! Sure, the technology is superb here but remember it is the people who matters in any school you go to!

I was a student here from k-3rd grade and I have to say this was probably the best school i've been to. I can only remember being happy, competing with other students in the "mad minutes", working together with my peers to put on our fantastic show "Where the Wild Things Are", and not to mention plenty of time outside to unwind after vigorous but fun work. I always felt the schoolwork was a challenge, but not in a get stressed out and have an anxiety attack kind of way, but in a way that made me question myself to think "how can I be a better me". At the time I didnt really think like that but my teachers were always pushing me in the right direction. I always felt a sense of pride and connection to the school while I attended and even when I moved away to the east coast. Vessel's Vikings will always be my favorite school even as I sit in my college dorm with beautiful smart girls down the hall and cold hard beers in the fridge!

My child is a special needs high functioning aspergers student who went there and has struggled with her academics and was picked on and bullied by her peers. We decided to retain her based on her age, her grades, and from our child's input. Not only did the principal and district say no, they have reason for it. Moving a child to 7th grade when she is getting an D-, and F's, along with 700 points below the average reading level. The principal and district so no she is going on to 7th grade. I'll will be leaving this district and never coming back. Even with my spouse be involved at least once a week, they still made that decision.

The school is great. At first I was afraid that my children were not going to get the attention they need with 30 students in the class, this was not so, they got the attention they needed to work on their weak point in their accedemics.
