I've been a teacher at Santiago for over 15 years. I absolutely love our school. Students are hard-working and polite. I may have some rose-colored glasses on, but Santiago is a family, even though it is a large school. Many teachers have been working here for decades because we love it. We collaborate in our lesson plans and we create awesome learning experiences for the kids. There is a place for everyone at SHS! Encourage kids to get involved in clubs, sports, band or any of the other fabulous opportunities for enrichment at Santiago. Kids are our passion and we love to serve. Check out all of the statistics and state tests; we score pretty high, if I can brag a bit. I'm proud to be a Shark and I've had so many students go on to be doctors, lawyers, CEOs and yes, even other great teachers! Some have even returned to teach after graduating from college. Take a tour of our school and I think you will like what you see.

This school is wonderful if you are a socially normal student. If you aren't queer, high functioning in any sorts of disability, a student of color, or lower middle class or lower class, you will have a fantastic experience. For the others, good luck, high school isn't easy for everyone, be strong, work hard, PLAN AHEAD. You'll do great! The school, as long as you fight for it, will set you up for success in your future.

Alumni from class of 2006. I absolutely loved attending Santiago High School, and couldn't have asked for better teachers. The counseling staff is stellar, and the sports programs & extra curricular activities had a very positive impact on my education. I'd recommend this school to any parent within the school district.

I graduated from Santiago in 2008 and my time there was the best I could have imagined. I was an Honors/AP class student and my teachers were engaging, helpful, knowledgeable, and left a positive impact I took with me into college. I loved the campus during my time and the few times I've come back it has only gotten even better! I was also a varsity athlete and have nothing but great things to say about the athletics at SHS and Steve Mitchell (former football coach and now AD). Parents, if you want to give your children a good education, great memories of HS, and prepare them for college and beyond, don't hesitate to allow them to attend Santiago.

I am hosting a foreign exchange student this year and was apprehensive about classes, teachers and the logistics of starting on the first day. I couldn't be more pleased with the new principal. Dr. Lewis, his AP. secretary, and counselor. Great start and a highly supportive and welcoming team. Great school.

This school is not proactive in handling bullying or harassment issues. They don't keep parents updated and show no concern in resolving issues in a timely manner. Teachers do not communicate with parents or go out of their way to help students. How are our kids going to be the best student if they are not encouraged by teachers and the school. Don't let your son or daughter become a victim.

Great! The sports here are awesome! I'm a Sophmore and I love it here. I also play basketball. It's better than Centennial for sure. I've had a lot of caring teachers too.

Ok... I'm a sophomore at this school and some of the teachers aren't so good. Some of the teachers are great and actually want to help, but unfortunately only of few of them are that dedicated. Most of the teachers , teaching style is more, "here you go learn it yourself" so if you're prepared for that then yea this is the school for you.

do not judge a person until u know the facts, the school is judging my daughter even before they have a chance to see the help she has gotten, trust me she has done a complete turn around, the two people at the school district don;t seem to understand and they know who they are. what needs to be done is someone at the school to take care of the other student that caused the problem instead of turning there heads exactly what the school and school district are doing, i hope i don't have to get the news media invloved
