I previously attended this school (2018-2022). I'm not sure why some of these reviews talk about dress codes or gangs, when I was attending I didn't see any gangs or unruly displays. Everyone at the school seems to be friendly and I never had any issues with other classmates. There's a lot of diversity there and loads of clubs to choose from if socializing is your style. The science teachers enjoy teaching their material and know it well. Most will allow curiosity in the classroom and I appreciate the hands-on learning. The math teachers might need some work, I have had one math teacher that was the perfect fit for me in terms of learning strategy, and another who did their best to help her students understand the material in class. Though one math teacher didn't seem passionate or slightly interested in students' questions or forming a connection. The language arts teachers are great. They really try to engage the students and will form connections with students. The foreign language teachers are really chill and like to connect classroom lessons to the world or students.

I think it would be great school if they would in force the dress code mainly with boys. There are lots gang members that go here and lots of drugs. I don’t understand why are they not more careful n more strict. I wish the staff members would wake up n get out of there confortable office n have more eyes on students.

I went here for all 4 years and I am so glad I did. The atmosphere is awesome at Centennial and no other school in the area compares well. Centennnial has much more to offer in regards to advanced courses. The advanced courses help students prepare for the rigorous courses they will be taking at the university level. My sister has also attended Centennial and taken all advanced courses. She is currently working on her PhD in a highly difficult engineering field and is expected to earn her PhD in only 2 1/2 years. I highly recommend Centennial for any parents that are not sure of where to send their kids. Centennial’s staff is by far the best in the CNUSD.

This school is absolutely terrible. I have been bullied almost everyday by the students and surprisingly by the teachers as well. The curriculum here is terrible, and the teachers are the most laziest human beings you will ever meet. This school does not teach values and morals or the mandatory curriculum, but instead focuses on their sports. I would highly recommend NOT attending this school.

He was very involved with Centennial's football program and We can't say enough good things about Centennials football program and the coaches. We will miss our football family. I am curently an IB freshman at Centennial, and I love it. Most of my teachers are very nice and will help you as long as you ask for it. While some don't, most teachers really do care that you pass their class, and they actually try to teach the stuff instead of just giving you worksheets. I am currently on the Track team, and was also on the Cross Country team, and while homework was sometimes difficult to get done, most of my teachers we're a little lenient because I was always in a sport until 5 pm. This is good, and helps a lot, especially because they don't let you completely of the hook and still make you do the majority of your homework.

I am an alumnus of this school, class of 2001. I was also a part of the IB program at this school, did cross country, academic decathlon, and mock trial. I absolutely loved it here and would definitely send my two boys here in the future. College was a breeze because of the IB program and now I am a physician at a local hospital. This school and the education I received here set me up for a life of success.
