The principal is terrible. Rudest, self loathing man. If you decide to go here, be on the watch for him. Teachers are good to a point. If they are older SWITCH!! The younger teachers are way to go. Good luck.

We have had both our kids go here for their elementary school. One of them graduated last year and went from Kindergarten to 6th grade. The teachers and principal all care deeply about the kids and the whole school is a tight knit community. All of the teachers are very experienced and put a lot of effort into making the kids better. We love this school and can’t say enough great things. They develop the students as whole people using the 5 Cs as our guide. We couldn’t be happier with our kids going here. Our oldest is now thriving in middle school with the great foundation that Susan B Anthony gave her.

The teachers are very rude to the students. One child in 1st grade had peed his pants because he was supposed to go to the bathroom at recess. They are kids with very small bladders! I’d be so mad if that was my child. The next year 2nd grade during the pandemic my child was yelled at during zoom because he was one minute early! She should have been happy to see a student early but instead she told him to log off and he was too early. Teachers do not care here and seem to be tired of teaching. This is my experience for 2 years. I feel that children look up to their teacher and when they are talked down to and disrespected it will a take a toll on their self esteem. The teacher wouldn’t let the kids even comment. She mute their mic and this is during a discussion and she’s not even teaching. The teacher didn’t care to know them. I want my kids to have high self esteem as well as the rest of those students. Everyone would do better with a supporting environment. This school has an okay rating for the majority of the students not being bilingual. It should be least 90% math and 95% English but instead the rating is 80% English and Math 70%. I can’t entirely blame the teachers for the math rating. The math savaas program is the worst. It teaches the kids to do math a very long way and has the child create unnecessary charts making the child impatient. Overall, I am very disappointed with the teachers not caring about the children’s self confidence and unprofessional behavior towards the kids. TLC is really lacking here. :(

Both of my daughters attended the school for grades K-6 (one TK-6) and the combined 15 years of their lives spent here we’re the perfect start to a successful life of learning and creativity!! Thanks SBA!! They still talk about their elementary years as the best time they had in school!!

All 3 of my children have attended this school. We have had nothing but positive school years as well as great resources for one of my children with an IEP.

Susan B. Anthony is a GREAT school. I researched schools in my area for 2 1/2 years. When it was time for my daughter to start Kindergarten, I asked for an inter district transfer to Susan B. Anthony. My decision was spot on. Research is golden. Education paves the way to a good life.

I was worried when I first moved my daughter from a private school to Susan B. Anthony. Those worries were unnecessary. My daughter made friends immediately and has a very good class teacher. She is doing very well academically. Better than when she was a the private school. SBA is doing a good job in encouraging the students to read. Motivation by the principal during assemblies made my daughter wanted to read more and be proud of herself. We love the staff, the principal and the teachers. They are all so dedicated and involved with the kids. Thank you SBA.
