They are not very helpful at ALL. Front office was gossiping with another staff instead of helping out parents who are waiting. They were very rude to me in person and over the phone. Janice, couldn’t explain what I did not understand and tried to hang up on me (she was talking to someone else while I was on the phone with her). She said she would call me back after she talks to the principal and I still have not heard back. Extremely rude. My first time trying to get my child in school and this was my experience.

The principle and staff at this school are completely incompetent and useless. Each and every time I inquire about anything with this school I am met with blank stares and "I don't know" responses. I am greatly concerned about the safety tactics used at this school as my child was not adequately attended to and they lost her. It took well over ten days and a complaint filed with the district administrative office before the principle bothered to contact me with an less than acceptable explanation. I attempted to give this school another chance this year and they have far exceed the incompetency from last year. They allowed an outside agency have face to face contact with my child without my consent and could not or would not provide a who, a when, or why this contact was made. At this point I have lost all confidence in this school and have removed my child from this school.

My grandson goes to Central, he has ADHD and is doing very well. The staff at Central have been very good with him, they are very caring and my grandason has enjoyed all of his teachers. As far as the curriculum goes, don't blame the teachers or the school, you are to blame parents. Do you go to your school board meetings? The reason why other schools are advanced is because they support their schools. Instead of complaining, why don't you help come up with a solution? Be an active part of your community, go to the meetings and see for your self how the District is trying to make our schools better. Come on people, it seems like everytime the District tries to improve the schools they run into a stumbling block, US, the parents. We are the reason why our children aren't getting the education they need and deserve. The parents of the other Districts are willing to dip a little lower into their pocket books to help with their childrens education, are you? I'm a registered voter and I will vote yes to help your children and my grandchildren get the education they deserve.

I am one of many grandparents who help thier sons and daughters with grandchildren at central. The teachers have been great. The principles are changed to often. they need more support staff. More teaching about "not to be a bully". A after school program for tutoring or reinforcement.
