White families and kids will definitely be happier and more acceptable in this school. Lots of staff and parents are nice but there are enough of the opposites to make you feel white supremacy strongly. It was sad that I had to pull my kid out after I ran out of white lies about it!!!!!

High Tech is a tremendous school. The leadership, teachers, community members all do an incredible job supporting each other and the students.

Great school, teachers, and leadership. Unfortunately subject to poor DPS policies and top-heavy central administration... a tax on all DPS schools.

Great teachers who foster a tremendous academic and social environment

High Tech is a great Stapleton school. The teachers and admin are top notch- they care for our children and work hard every day. This school is very strong with academics. The one area that this school could still work on is community - but this should be expected for a new school that is slowly growing.

This school does very little culture building. There is not a strong community feel. The teachers are good but seem overworked and unsupported.

Why are so many teachers leaving this school?

Great teachers, warm but structured atmosphere for kiddos, decisive yet flexible leadership, and a fantastic parent community.

This is a school that embraces all students and works hard to meet their needs academically, socially and behaviorally of all students. Staff are dedicated, passionate, knowledgable and caring. There is an emphasis on continued growth in students AND teachers. This is a school that strives to challenge students academically, socially and globally to be the best they can be.

This school is intense. While I believe an extended school day is effective it can also be overwhelming for students and staff. They have high expectations, overcrowded classrooms and of lack effective communication skills for staff and parents.

High Tech is experiencing the growing pains you might expect from a second-year school. The administration has many good ideas, but execution is frustratingly slow (e.g. Project Based Learning). Culture is very strict, not at all warm or welcoming. In my opinion, average students with good behavior will do the best at this school; students with any type of special need do not get sufficient accommodations.
