My daughter is in the Kindergarten class this year. I only expected to send her there one year, but after seeing how wonderful the school this, I registered her for next year too. She is learning so much, and since the school is small, I feel that she gets the attention and care she needs to thrive. They have a "big bud" program for the Kindergarten class which pairs each student with a 5th grader. My daughter loves it. She actually has 2 big buds and she loves when she gets to spend time with them or when they give her artwork. I am a Christian, but not Catholic. Even so, I'm thankful that my daugther is getting such a wonderful education while also learning about God and Christian values. I called around when I was looking for a private school, and the St. Bernard secretary and principal were so friendly and welcoming that it just felt right. They never made me feel guilty or unwelcome for not being Catholic, and I am so glad I made this decision.

Like a family atmosphere; the kids and teachers all know each other regardless of grade. Great Christian atmosphere. No advanced level classes. Can tend to be a bit cliquey and can have too much emphasis on sports by the parents.

I am so glad my husband and I decided to send our daughter to St. Bernard. On top of an excellent education, the fact that the children and staff all know each other makes the school a place where the she feels safe, cared for and a part of a larger parish family. I know she will excel academically, spiritually and socially with the help of the wonderful staff at St. Bernard.

This is a great school to send your kids to. Your child will leave with more than just an education. They will leave with a complete understanding of their Catholic Faith.
