My two grandchildren were thrilled to attend. Wonderful children’s Mass and faith formation. However teacher turnover not acceptable for private school tuition. With that said they also have wonderful teachers but great turnover. The bullying is unacceptable. The administration takes no action to address these issues. When adults do not protect children it can have a profound effect on their faith and ability to trust adults. Very concerning

This school is an excellent school that anyone should go to. Five stars

St Thomas More Catholic School is a wonderful example of what an academic community should be. The staff, priests, families, and parishioners are an exceptionally supportive and intertwined community, from preschool to 8th grade. While the test scores and merits speak for themselves, there are also ample opportunities for students to join in on various sports and clubs, broadening the depth of their educations. Parents are encouraged to volunteer and support the school in the day to day functions as well. Watching my children attend STM after being an alumni myself is one of my greatest privileges.

St. Thomas More has given our girls an incredibly well rounded experience. I am confident they are getting an incredible education and will be very well prepared academically. But equally important to us, they have incredible support. When our family experienced some unexpected hardship that flipped our kids routine and lived upside down, STM was there to love and support them in so many ways. We’ll be forever grateful for a school that is so much more than academics for us.

My family has been at STM for 6 years and we all love it. They feel supported academically and are excelling. The didactics are tough but manageable—they’re all able to keep up and participate in after school activities. They are being taught kindness and virtues that every adult they interact with comments on. They love their teachers and staff and truly feel they have the skills to do well. We have friends who is children go to high schools around the area and say they can tell the STM kids because the STM kids are so well prepared. From our experience, we can see how this could be true.

St. Thomas More is a wonderful school that offers an authentically Catholic education and strong academics. Our children are thriving here amongst the caring faculty and staff. The parish priests are ever present and take the time to teach the students. They are great examples for the students and are truly forming disciples of Christ. We are blessed to be a part of this school and church community.

We have a child in Kindergarten and one in preschool at St. Thomas More. Academically, the girls are flourishing, though this was not unexpected. STM has a great reputation for robust academics and teachers devoted to the learning of each student. What I am very impressed with is how much religion/faith-based education these kids get in the younger grades. They have their prayers memorized and enjoy sharing them with the family. They come home taking about what Bible stories they read during the day and what it means to be a Catholic Christian. We love this community.

We have loved St Thomas More! We had our oldest two children in public school, but our third had done her last year of preschool at STM. When Covid hit, we decided to have her continue at STM for kindergarten. Not only did she stay in school the whole year (versus our two at public school who had to learn virtually for several months) but her achievements academically far outpaced those of her older two siblings (even though THEY had both done full years of kindergarten in their public school). The icing on the cake is the spiritual formation she is getting in this broken world. After her year in kindergarten, we moved our older two over to STM too. We have had EXCELLENT teachers. There hasn't been one teacher we've disliked. We (and they) couldn't be happier with our experience!

We have two children who have been attending St. Thomas More Parish School over the last five years. We are very happy with the high quality of the instruction and the significant progress our children have made. We also very much appreciate the care that the teachers consistently show to our children and their open communication with parents about a child's academic challenges and emotional well-being. During the COVID-19 pandemic's most difficult months, the school administration and teachers kept the school open and continued the curriculum the school is known for, which was a huge blessing to the parents of students who learn better in the classroom as opposed to through virtual instruction. Most importantly, the school promotes Catholic/Christian beliefs, including showing respect to teachers and students, acceptance of students with learning differences, and service to others in need. We believe that our children's education at St. Thomas More Parish School is the best investment we have ever made, particularly in raising our children in the Catholic faith and preparing them for adulthood.

St. Thomas More is an excellent school. I am a parent of two students there and I can tell that that teachers and the leadership truly care about the well-being and education of their students. They have a robust curriculum and I am confident that they are being very well prepared for high school and college. The pastor of St. Thomas More Parish is very involved with the school and I can tell that Catholic values are very much a part of what they are teaching there to ensure a great, well-rounded education for the kids!

We have 2 kids in elementary school at STM and love it. The teachers truly care about each child. The academics are top notch and both kids are excelling. We love that religion is taught each day and the priests are frequently involved in their day to day life.

Very disappointed with the preschool. The experience we had with the preschool was not representative of the Catholic ethics that STM stands for. Director Mary is not a friendly or caring person at all. She criticized my 2 year old son's art and he was compared with his other classmates, she said my son had developmental delay without any prior evaluation (doing that sort of comment it’s so unprofessional and wrong) and due to this they pull him out abruptly from the school, director and teachers not supporting my son through his potty training he needed a little extra push with reminders. Do not recommend this preschool.

St Thomas More Catholic School does a wonderful job of educating my children's mind, body and soul. Academically they are thriving due to the excellence they instill in each child as a gift from God. The teachers are excellent! Their classmates and kind and considerate. Whenever there have been any troubles with friends, the teachers and administrators are quick to step in and help the children work their way through the issue. This school is a beautiful gift to my family.

This school is like a sinking ship. Parents are not given information. The principal keeps it all locked up so people are confused. A few select parents/spies text with the principal but the rest of the plebians can't get her to respond to e-mails. As a result of the lack of communication, multiple text strings exist between many different groups of parents so that questions can be answered. Questions include what the kids are supposed to wear on a certian day to why a grade is being punished in the lunch room for a month. Because the parents are completely cut off from information, they have to talk to each other. The principal recently actually heard about one of the many text chains and she texted the group of moms to shame them and told them to stop talking to each other. She did not explain the situation at hand or attempt to schedule a meeting or send an e-mail. She just stepped in from her pedestal to block any dissent. These poor parents. All of this in combination with the lack of good teachers and the cliques between the kids and the parents, this school will sink in the next few years.

I’m not one to write bad reviews especially about a school but the experiences we’ve had here have been so negative and nothing is being done in the ministration to make any changes to help with the bullying problem abs the cliques. Teachers look the other way when children are being harassed and the principal makes no effort to get to know the kids or help any kid who may be struggling. If you donate a lot of money or spend every waking minute at the school, you are treated very differently than the “commoner” at the school. Also a lot of the teachers have children at the school. They seem to be able to get away with anything. Overall, the academics are decent although in recent years, many teachers have left the school and only in a couple of instances has that changed been positive. For the most part, the instruction has suffered especially in the middle school.

Our two children have attended STM since 2015. The teachers, faculty staff, and clergy have had a profound, positive impact on our children and family. The curriculum is rooted in traditional Catholic values. Particular kudos go out to our principal and faculty during the COVID-19 pandemic. Remote learning was limited to a short period of time so data, information, and parent feedback could be obtained. Our 2020-2021 school year saw no outbreaks. Quarantines for certain grades were limited, short, and infrequent. Having our children return to normalcy while the rest of the country seemingly remained paralyzed by fear was such a blessing for our children. Masks were primarily optional, desk shields were installed and the mental health of our children could be restored. Our principal showed tremendous strength during this period of time. She made incredibly tough decisions based on science, fact, and data when the easy thing to do would have been to mask the children indoors & outdoors, require more remote learning, etc. We are truly blessed to have the faculty we have as well. The faculty wanted to be in the classroom with the children. They over-communicated during the initial remote-learning phase, were responsive to questions and concerns, and went above and beyond to ensure their students did not fall behind. Our students get a traditional, values/morals-based Catholic education while remaining above the national average in all academic categories. We could not be happier with our school. We pray more families have the ability to experience the difference a Catholic education can make on our youth. We strongly recommend STM!

Sending our 3 children to STM has been the greatest thing we as parents have done. The faith-based education provided by this school has been pivotal in making our children into the loving, caring, smart, generous, and humble people they are today. We experienced public/charter schools prior to coming to STM and can tell you that it has been worth every penny in tuition and increase driving costs etc.

An amazing school and community. Love the fact faith is taught in the school and the academics outpace the local public schools according to the test scores and high school feedback. We feel so blessed the teachers put the kids first and our kids have been in in-person school during the 20/21 school year. LOVE this school!!!

Top notch parochial school experience with an emphasis on teaching these kids to be great people, leaders, compassionate humans, strong academically minded individuals and kids that will make an impact in society, business etc. It is a prep school for life and not just HS and College. We had our kids in a public school and we are not super devote Catholics:) .....so, we can say from an interesting perspective that this school has exceeded our expectations and has enforced great values for our children.

Academics overall aren’t any different than you’d get in Cherry Creek, Littleton or Douglas County schools. A lot of great programs, like Spanish in the elementary school, have been cut. Many teachers have long worn out their tenure and don’t seem to try very hard. Overall, the families here are warm and compassionate but we have found it’s just not a good fit for our family and will be transferring at the end of the school year.
