When the pandemic started, my daughter had to switch schools. I chose Annalee. It was the best choice I have ever made. The teacher and the principal made my daughter and I feel so welcomed. The teacher, Ms. Rasmussen work hard with my daughter to help her keep up with her studies while on zoom. The principal Ms. Bryan was there every step of the way to make sure all students were learning. All I can say is Thank you Annalee Teachers and Staff for welcoming my family into yours!

Annalee Avenue Elementary School is a great place to learn where both the teachers and staff are all invested in learning. They teach students to have a positive mindset and provide a rigorous curriculum that is both challenging and fun. The principal is always working above and beyond to ensure that students receive the best learning benefits as possible.

I cannot thank Ms Bryan and Ms Harris enough for taking the time to have a Parent Power Data Chat session with me to explain my child’s data to me in a gentle yet empowering manner. I now know how to assist my child at home to compliment all of the additional instructional programs that are in place at this time to improve academic outcomes for all students. I’m not shy about approaching data any longer. I wish all parents would seek to know and understand their child’s data.Annalee is serious about instruction and wants parents at the table.

The school has made great social and academic strides under the leadership of the new principal, Ms. Bryan. Test scores are up, instruction is targeted, teachers are supported, and the needs of the whole child are addressed. Targeted after school tutoring, Saturday intervention classes, and daily small group time have been implemented to address student needs based on data analysis. Positive change takes time, and in the past 3 years there is a marked cohesiveness to the learning environment at Annalee. The right people are on the bus and impacting student learning.

The staff at AnnaLee shows their true love and passion for the students!! The start of this school year has been a big transition coming back from virtual learning but the teachers , staff and principal have done an exceptional job with welcoming the students back and ensuring that they have a great school year. Principal Bryans vision to help students and parents this year has been beautiful to see! AnnaLee is the place to be!!

Annalee is a great place to learn. It is in the process of rebranding and making all of the necessary changes to create a student-centered environment. The individual needs of students is the primary focus. The principal, Ms. Bryan, is an excellent instructional leader. Her dedication and passion is undefeated. Great things are on the horizon for Annalee.

I started teaching at Annalee 4 years ago. During this time, I have seen and experienced so much transformation and growth. Our principal, Ms. Bryan has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills. Annalee is much more organized and our staff dedicates time to preparing for cooperative planning to service all of the students. Annalee is progressing and will continue to do so. We are on the road to greatness!

Annalee is the best school! The teachers are wonderful! They are patient and really care about their students. They communicate with parents and let you know how your child is doing. The principal, Ms. Bryan is the best principal. She cares about all the students! She is at the gate every day to meet and great each and every family. She is so helpful. She makes sure that all students are receiving the best education possible. I love her and this school. I am so blessed that my kids go to Annalee!

Annalee is a welcoming place. The staff shows genuine care and interest in the students. The principal Ms. Bryan shows great interest in the school and the students. She goes up and beyond to make sure they are provided with resources they need to perform successfully. The students well being and success is very important to her. She works hard to make sure all is treated with equity and respect.

As a former student that has graduated from this school I can say that my past 4-5 years at this school were horrible I was being bullied and no action was taken to stop it I have told my teachers many times that that this was happening and even came to principals office with my parents to let them know it had got so bad to the point where I would cry and beg my parents not make me go to school I feel that this isn't an ideal school to send your children to even if its what's most convenient its not worth it.

Annalee elementary is a wonderful school. Love the garden dance and theatre class they offer to students. The staff is very friendly and committed to each child's achievement. The principal is also very dedicated and very approachable. This school feels like family. Before the pandemic they were having family math nights and reading nights That really built up the community. Even during the pandemic they go up above and beyond. They had a live virtual field trip with an aquarium coordinator who was giving the students a tour live of the aquarium through zoom.

Annalee Avenue Elementary School has improved a great deal because of the principal and staff members commitment to the development of the whole child. Much effort continues to be made for a welcoming and supportive community of parents, students, and teachers. This neighborhood school is thriving in innovation and communion with its educational partners for the advancement of students and their families.

Annalee Avenue El School,Is not a perfect institution, there are none.What I will say is:1. Test scores in mathematics have made the highest gains in any given year in recent/past history2. English Language scores are on the rise as well3. Social Emotional Learning and Wellness interventions continue to support students in self-regulation and pro social skill building4. We have an active community garden and parents are actively engaged in related activities5. There is a remodeled Parent Resource Center (only thing missing is you and we WELCOME ALL PARENTS to have a say in the direction of Annalee El School6. The school and campus at large is undergoing "Re-branding" including major improvements within as well ones visible at street level7. The STEAM Magnet is thriving and boast of it's Robotics Club8. Student's safety is the number one priority of Annalee El School's leadership9. There are nationally certified educators committed at Annalee students10. Intervention Programs have been increased to meet student need (data-informed decision making at it's best)11. Saturday School Program exist and is thriving in effort to meet students needs12. Public School is just that...Public School. Stakeholders in this community are invested in all children, they cannot pick and choose which students to serve (nor would they). Thus...there is no perfect school, no perfect student/person. The goal is to "support" the "whole" student and meet the presenting needs impeding academic and social emotional achievement and growth. 13. Annalee remains committed and in support of all children.

If my safety was in jeopardy by a bully then I know my children weren't safe. That young man was so violent I can't imagine my child having to interact with a person like that on a daily basis.

Anna Lee is one of the worst schools in LA school district. As a parent, I see discrepancies everyday. Children are not being taught, teachers are not professional & the school is failing the district and community.
