This school has poor educational practices. Mrs. Alexander made a false claim that this school specializes in behavior. However, they have expelled my son through text message without collaborating with parent on ways to lead to a solution. Or seek consultation from a creditialed educator or board certified behavior analyst to assist them in their short comings. It’s apparent that the tuition they accept is quick cash grab in exchange for poor educational services. While relying on cheap and free labor.

This school is excellent! One day, all schools will be patterned after their model, as it's the only type I've found where my son, who is now a Civil Engineer, got skilled tutoring when he was stuck in Algebra. I would highly recommend this school. The school has everything a larger school would have, except on a smaller scale, and some of their teachers have doctorate degrees. Best investment I ever made!

This school is horrible I brought my kids here and they didn't learn anything 6-12 is in one class and they don't get help. The science lab is horrible and they don't learn chemistry or anything. I don't recommend this school at all. The paces don't help at all and are horrible. This is the worst school ever. The only reason I gave it a star is because I had to because I give it zero stars

I am a former teacher of Carson Christian School. CCS consistently puts the needs of their students first. Mrs. Alexander, the principal, always empowered and challenged me (and the rest of her staff) to make the make learning fun and to bring the joy learning to life in my classroom. Children truly learn at Carson Christian, they are not lost in overcrowded classrooms. The teachers work one on one with each student, to ensure mastery of vital concepts. The curriculum is developed to reiterate past concepts, allowing students to build upon prior knowledge. One of the many highlights during my time at CCS was my annual class field trip to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. The tour guides and staff would always comment on how impressed they were with how much my students knew about the presidents and historical facts. If I still lived in California, I would enroll my own daughter at CCS. Carson Christian School gives your child the opportunity to excel and exceed. Nicole Tolbert (former teacher)

Carson Christian School is a school that has not only a great educational program but also a nurturing and spiritual based environment that is conducive to any student to learn in. I appreciated the school in how they met the needs of two of my children who were totally different. My son was a self starter and excelled in the program and was able to enter college at 15. The school meet the student where they are. On the other hand my daughter had to be pushed and monitored closely and I was praying she gets through high school. However she is attending college and with the grace of God she will graduate. Carson Christian met her where she was at and she did well in school. And, I am so grateful the school validated the Bible teaching that my children received at home and church. I recommend this school to any student and especially those who need that extra push like my daughter. Sincerely, Cecilia Jefferson Freeman

While my opinion is subjective, I would truly like to reverberate that, I, in fact, received a quality Christian education coupled with the Christian academia that forged a successful path for me in both the undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Additionally, I can truly attest that during my tenure at the school that the staff exhibited exponential qualities that could not be garnered at any other school. It is therefore my fervent prayer that God continue to bless the school including its staff members, and that the school continues on its path to providing quality Christian education to impressionable minds.

In response to the ONE negative review on this page,My name is Cliff Wade,Class of '88.If it were NOT for Carson Christian, there is no telling were i would be as we speak. It taught me how to be independent, take responsibility for my OWN actions, and the value of an education.I know quite a few people that have gone through the doors of CCS and have come out BETTER for it.I have made friends for life through CCS.The staff(Thomas Alexander Jr) was EXCELLENT in helping me acheive my goals.Love CCS for life!!!!!

This a wonderful school. I depended on it for the educational enrichment for two of my children. The principal is one of the greatest, and the staff were interested in seeing each student excel! I believe it is a far cry from the public school systems and therefore I highly recommend it to parents who want the very best education for their child or children.

My experience at this school was positive. I enjoyed myself for the time I was there. Mrs. Alexander I can say she truly cares for the education of young minds in both schoolwork and spiritual guidance. The program is designed for students to take an active role in their own education. I found it very helpful. I wish the school and Mrs. A all the success

I am a former student of Carson Christian School and I had a very positive experience. Every student is put on a developed "pace" level in order to continually grow past the more academia grade level approach that public schools have in place. I was not only able to graduate 2 years prior to my senior year but I also went on to a UC and graduated with Latin Honors. I do not work at a burger king and my friends that graduated along with me are all very successful individuals holding positions such as merchant marine, social work, hospitality, entertainment, etc. I would recommend the program for children who have been placed in magnet schools, or have a passion and drive in their work but are also able to work independently and do not need to be micro-managed as this is not a school of babysitters. CCS was great and I appreciate everyone like Mrs. Rhodes and Mr. A for encouraging me to continually develop in my education and career. Xo Mina

This school is probably one of the worst schools in southern California. The academic "teacher" (and i use that term very loosely) are more like babysitters rather than educators. First of all each of these people discourage each student from fulfilling their full potential and try to hold each student in their high school as long as possible in order to continue to collect money for the students. They never give children works that is level appropriate for the students and do not prepare them for a prosperous future a children of our future. overall, the school should be SHUT DOWN. The worse decision you can ever make for your child unless you want them working at Burger King or a local car wash for the rest of their lives. This school has destroyed many children's futures and continue to do so. I pray that this school either changes complete staffing or just completely shuts down to avoid more student's ruin. P.S. only gave a star because I was forced to.
