I will start off by saying that there are some really good teachers and staff here. There are staff members that I really do appreciate and respect and thank for being positive role models for kids. Unfortunately, there are also quite a few staff members/teachers that are not so good. Between resourse room teachers who are disrespectful, condescending and rude, when engaging with students OR teachers who have flat out told students that they would rather be somewhere else and that teaching wasnt really what they wanted to do.... it makes for a pretty iffy environment for kids. There are teachers who, in my opinion, show a lack of respect for parents and essentially aid in tearing down the importance of parents and their roles in their child's life, by referring to them as nothing more than "tax payers" or the child's "adult" I have been told on numerous occasions, that teachers spend a lot of time sitting at their desks, on their phones, rather than doing their job. When students ask for help, some teachers repeatedly tell them to "watch a video" OR they become visibly irritated that they have to actually teach! I Unfortunately have had to deal with teachers who refuse to respond when a concern or question is presented to them. Stories by staff have been altered or sugar-coated or down right left out, in hopes of making themselves look better or give the false notion that the teacher did nothing wrong. The school claims to want to help kids learn self accountability yet some staff members are incapable of doing this, themselves. It makes it hard to trust the school and some staff and creates a very stressful environment for both kids and parents. It's dissapointing, to say the least.

The school is an utter joke when it comes to enforcing the rules. They refused to listen to my child when he specifically shoed the teachers that he had done nothing wrong and had not copied his homework. but they did not care and gave him a zero on the homework assignment. I saw him work hard and late into the night, and it breaks my heart that the teachers are so clueless that they won't even check editing history.

Liberty is a top-notch school. The teachers and administrators work well as a team. The school is beautiful inside and out and has up-to-date technology and a wide variety of classes to choose.
