I'm so happy I found this school. This place has exceeded my expectations. My daughter absolutely loves it here. After her 2nd week she came home speaking Spanish...she's in pre-K. The leadership team, teachers and staff are wonderful. The front office ladies are all amazing! I had to drop something off for my daughter in the middle of the day and I saw the assistant principle throwing the football with the kids during their recess. I love that the school encourages you to get involved, from volunteering in the classroom to helping with movie nights and dances. The school keeps you well informed by sending out midweek newsletters with happenings going on at the school. I'm very happy with having my child attend All Saints.

We've had nothing but extremely positive experiences at All Saints. 3 of my kids have graduated and gone on to excell in highschool. Due to the growth that they have experienced at All Saints academically, socially, athletically, and spiritually. I am beyond grateful for this school.

All Saints Catholic School is the most unwelcoming environment unless you have money and are Catholic. Do not say you are not Catholic going to this school. The student behavior is not disciplined but if you as a parent stand up for your child you will face more discipline than a child who acts like a jerk. The assistant principal has a ego and lives like this is the 1950s when it comes to speaking with female parents. The principal is non-existent. Don't waste your money, unless you have a lot and want to waste it and are Catholic. The culture is terrible.

This school has acceded our expectations. The "pull out program" has been such a game changer for our son. Allowing him to get the one on one help he needs in a supportive setting.

As a parent of a recently graduated 8th grader, this school did not adequately prepare my child for HS. Especially in regards to math preparation, it began in 4th grade when they changed their grading system to allow HW as a completion grade not a grade of work/effort or understanding of material. Therefore, it continued throughout the grades year after year, of only testing knowledge at quiz/test time with little knowledge of how student was doing in the meantime. Yeah, it was fine if your child had lackluster math skills to avoid getting lower grades, but overall, prevented teachers from actually teaching math for understanding and just trying to get through the lessons to meet curriculum standards. The lack of diversity was disgusting as well, understandably, it was a private school in Canton, MI, but the racial microaggressions were quite evident because of the general populace culture. So, I wouldn't encourage enrollment if your a person of color/underprivileged culture and understand the popular culture in today's time. As we continued further each year, the teachers were less and less engaged with students, talking to each other in the hallway instead of teaching and engaging students, what we were paying for. Mr. Willing, a former 7th grade SS teacher, was a loss to the school when he left because he engaged the students and brought excitement and fun to the history lessons. There was no one else like him. The lackluster teachers and principal are what makes the school less desirable for anyone seeking this school.

All Saints Catholic School is amazing. The teachers and administrators care deeply about the students and academic excellence. Students have the opportunity to learn curriculum that is far beyond the basics that are taught at other schools. Additionally, the teachers and administrators ensure the school environment is one in which students feel welcome and behavior is monitored to ensure all students feel included and are supported throughout all their years. I have been amazed by the amount of time and effort that teachers and administrators devote to making this school an exceptional experience for all students. Even when students had to move to distance learning due to COVID-19, the teachers had their ENTIRE curriculum in place, up and running, within 1 week period of time. All the students were allowed to successfully complete their entire academic year, including all the originally planned curriculum without any issues. This is due to the incredible talent of all the teachers and administrators who run the school. I cannot begin to express what a fantastic experience the school has been for us. Even if you are not Catholic, the school provides a very warm and open environment to all students and families and ensures that students are all treated with kindness and values that include everyone. The students receive the best education, far beyond the state's required curriculum, and also receive love and care throughout all their years. This is the best choice anyone could make for their child.

The school is truly a magical place. The teachers and staff are passionate in what they do. The students leave this school confident, poised and true leaders in their community.

Above and beyond experience at All Saints. From morning prayer to start each day, to a quiet environment during the day to allow for focused learning, to the arts (music, Spanish, art, physical education) and countless after school activities for kids to engage with their peers. We made the best decision when we enrolled our kids here!

All Saints excels at distance learning. The strong foundation established in the classroom prepared our son to benefit from the more flexible learning schedule of distance learning. Teachers and administrators supply resources to foster social interaction. Class sessions include interaction with teachers and communication with other students. Students are required to meet the same accountability standards of the typical school day with teachers administering quizzes, unit tests and homework. The Daily Morning announcements and prayers are emailed now, and still the welcomed way to start the day. We are so grateful for the educational opportunities All Saints provides, in the classroom and online.

We are new to the area and my son will be entering the 3rd grade. We had heard nothing but great things about all ASCS but that is far from what we had experienced before even starting the school year. My son took the assessment test and was told we would be hearing back from the principal the next day. I had to call them twice the next day to know if he could attend the school or not. I wanted to know because that evening was a new family meeting which being new to the area would have been nice to attend. After my husband calling and talking to the Assistant principal I finally received a call back. I was told my son was aloud to attend the school but I needed to sign a written up behavior agreement because my son was seen as aggressive. I don't know what questions were asked during this "assessment" but for my son to be called aggressive and them to pass judgement of him before even meeting him is NOT catholic like to me at all. Why would I pay month to learn about God but them already have this presumption of my son. They didnt even try and call and ask my husband or I. We had suggested they call his principal from our old school. Our son has never been in trouble or even seen as an aggressive child. He is far from aggressive in fact we are always told how sweet and well mannered he is. SHAME on you all ASCS! Needless to say we have found a way better place for our family!

This school applies best learning practices and enables each student to thrive to their best. All Saints teachers develop a love of academics while fostering a supportive and caring environment among students and teachers. Parents are quite engaged and a good source of support. Strong principles and the school’s mission are applied in real life all the time. Our son has a healthy sense of self, care and responsibility to others. We like the small group learning the best.

Our daughter just graduated from All Saints in June. She attended from Pre-K until 8th grade. We are so pleased with the education she received. It has given her a strong foundation academically, spiritually and socially. Students have many volunteer and club opportunities. Electives in 7th and 8th grade allow the kids to explore new subjects and develop interests in areas they may not otherwise have considered. The administration, staff and teachers care about the students, and the community is welcoming and friendly. We are going to miss everyone at All Saints as our daughter moves on to high school.

We LOVE our school! I am a teacher and when I was looking for a school for my boys, I had lots of questions and was very choosy. I knew that All Saints was the school for us when I walked in and saw all of the religious art on the walls, the bright, huge classrooms, the reasonable class sizes (no more than 22) and the smiles on the staff and students. It was a friendly place and it felt like home. I love the curriculum and how it challenges the students to learn more about history, science, and the world around them from a young age. It is a unique way of teaching and my children have been so engaged and excited to learn and happy to go to school every day. We have met some wonderful families who have become terrific friends. I don't think that we could have made a better decision for our sons!

All Saints for me would be a recommended school for people yearning to be closer to Christ, and a boost for people staying for a year. Teachers are very respectful and responsible. One of their motto's, "A school you can believe in" is very true. As voted one of the most safe schools in Michigan, their care is guaranteed. However, the only improvements needed is plowing the snow where the kids play, and safety during Little Saints, where kids are taken care of by adults and 8th graders. Please vote All Saints a good school! -A former one-year student

Our family has been apart of All Saints Catholic School for five years, and I say family in every sense of the word. My children have and continue to flourish in the deepening of their understanding of our Catholic faith and their top notch education, but All Saints Catholic School is so much more than that. This community has become so dear to not only my husband and me, but also my parents, my sister and her husband, and my nephews. Our extended family involvement first started by attending many of the extra curricular events that All Saints Catholic School hosts throughout the year. It has now evolved to become place where the whole family actively participates in a number of capacitates. From opportunities helping in the classrooms, assistance with a range of activities behind the scenes, and the friendships that have been established with other All Saints families along the way, it really is our home away from home. Our children love All Saints Catholic School, are happy and well-rounded, and we could not be happier with our choice.

I was a student here for seven long years. After pleading my parents to let me switch to a public for several years, my wish was granted. During my time at ASCS, I found my creativity stifled and my individuality being stripped away. When I was there the school didn't want individuals. They wanted a school of robots. My grandmother passed away when I was in the third grade. During choir class we began to sing a song that my grandmother loved. I was crying silent tears but was swiftly removed from class and told that I was a distraction. I got yelled at for creating a scene when I had done exactly what the teacher said without any fight, and was told to only return back when I "pulled myself together." When I finally went to a public school, even though I was ahead academically, I was terrified to ask questions in class because the teachers at ASCS made it near impossible to feel comfortable in their classes. There is not a single good thing I have to say about the school from a student's standpoint. My parents say that the school is great, but the administration was always very good at appeasing the parents. The school teaches discipline, but at what price?

This is my children's 2nd year at All Saints. They absolutely love it there! We transferred from Our Lady of Good Counsel and they have been thrilled ever since. The building itself is warm and welcoming, very bright and inviting. The staff is excellent and the administration is very accessible. My kids have had nothing but wonderful experiences at All Saints. The class size is "just right" at about 20-24 kids, whereas OLGC has 36 to a classroom starting in 3rd grade (way too many) and the OLGC building is ancient. The curriculum at All Saints is wonderful; both academically challenging and interesting. My kids are excited to learn! The Catholic faith is evident in every classroom and throughout the school. My kids attend mass weekly and are learning values and teachings of the church throughout all of their subjects. I've read the 1 star ratings on this site and wonder if our kids are at the same school....I, and everyone I know, have had nothing but a wonderful experience at All Saints and would recommend it highly to anyone interested in a faith-based, top-notch education for their children.

This is our daughter's second year at All Saints and we could not be happier! As a public school teacher, we struggled with deciding where to send our children. We chose All Saints after visiting several schools including our local public school. We have been very impressed with the dedication of all staff members and their devotion to the school. We are very happy with the Core Knowledge curriculum and are amazed at the level of learning happening and how motivated our daughter is. It is obvious that the staff keeps current with research based best teaching practices. The small class size allows for children to get the attention they need to be successful and fosters a warm community feeling. Our daughter enjoys going to mass with the whole school and comes home telling stories of what she has learned about our faith There are extra curricular activities for all ages and interests as well. All Saints has our highest recommendation!

We have been at All Saints Catholic School for 12 years and the quality of the school has declined significantly in the past several years. They do a good job with the younger grades, but when the children reach middle school it is another story. The 7th and 8th grade children are treated horribly and are miserable. Our daughter is an excellent student, has been an altar server at our church for the past 5 years, in the children's choir for 6 years, and spends much of her free time volunteering at and raising money for local charities. This year she has had a teacher curse at her while reprimanding her for a ridiculous infraction. Another time, she was so strongly reprimanded for nervous laughing when a lunch monitor was telling some students to "look her in the eye when she yells at them" that she had to be picked up early because she was crying so hard. For all the parents of young children at All Saints: beware what the future will bring! If you are a parent trying to decide where to send your child, go to Our Lady of Good Council, St. Mike's or Our Lady of Victory. From our perspective, even the public schools model Christian values more effectively than All Saints.

We have two students at All Saints and have been very happy with the quality of the education. Over our 4 years at All Saints, I feel that the curriculum changes have just been fantastic. The material the kids are exposed to is starting earlier, is more challenging and they are handling it well. Very impressed with the direction ASCS is heading in and I look forward to future improvements. Also regarding the one star review post October 4, 2013, I think that poster was confused with All Saints in Canton Michigan and All Saints in Grand Rapids Michigan.
