We had an amazing experience even though our school year was cut short due to Covid. Everyone really cares about all the students and they are always helpful and approachable

Our three children have attended schools in 5 states. When we relocated to Georgia, we chose Buford based on the reputation of the schools. It is quite disappointing. The teachers are proud to be teachers inside the Buford school system, the administration is approachable, and everyone on campus is kind. If you're interested in volunteering inside the school, that is a welcomed possibility. Although there is a gifted program in place, the students are not necessarily challenged anymore than the average student. The teachers are prohibited from providing any extra work/ stimulation to the students that is outside the scope of the state test for their grade level. The children are taught the state test and the state test only. Communication with the teacher was impossible last year, but that may have been situational and not necessarily a school-wide issue.

The teachers, staff and administration do an outstanding job. They all seem to enjoy being there and make everyone feel welcome. Buford City Schools provide a "community atmosphere"

The academic performance of the students is excellent. The teachers are very good and always willing to help the children when they have a problem. Also they keep the parents very well informed about what is going on in the schools. Any problem that we have had has been addressed immediately.

Buford recently changed administration. I had such a positive experience when I contacted Kaleen Pulley. The adminstration treats you with kindness and respect regardless of your problem. Strong leadership is the foundation of a great school. Buford Academy is excellent.

I have 2 children in Buford City schools, one in the Academy and one in Middle school, both have been in Buford since kindergarten. Our experiences with teachers have been incredible with one exception which was immediately handled by the Principal. Buford school pride is over the top and the community is awesome. Outstanding academics and extracurricular activities. We feel blessed to be part of such an awesome school. Go Wolves!!
