This is the second year for my daughter at St. Jerome, we are very disappointed over all, teacher performance as the ones I have interacted with so far are always on their very expensive phones or iPads, The principal is only decorative, the Religious guidance is Zero, Security wise is as stressful as can be, everyday I just pray for my daughter to be safe when it's time for me to pick her up. I believe that a Catholic School should be a respectful, caring environment for kids to develop a sense of Family, Community, Service, Humility, Respect all that along with parents involved, me and my husband are looking for a new school for our daughter before is too late.

very disappointed in the school performance, not worth the money. The tution of $300 is ridiculus plus weekly extra fees. I am very distubed with the academics and the teachers mentality behind there poor perfomance teaching. The teachers dont care about the kids and they are very young and inexperienced working with kids based on their teaching ability. I have pulled my child from this school it was a waste of time and money and a disgrace, I was ashamed to say my child went to a Catholic school, when my friends kids in public school was doing much better. I dont think a lot of parents are involved in theyre kids studies at school cause St Jerome needs to be looked at seriously. NYC school system is failing and teachers who are not part of the solution is part of the problem and do not need to be getting paid for very poor perfomance!

SJS Has Been a good experience, but the class sizes exceed 30, Some teachers have no care for if there student exceed or not , the only thing that matters is if there getting there pay check or not. They have no control over there students. Their tuition is too high. we usually spend about 10-20 dollars weekly alone then the 250$ tuition with little results education wise. The teachers refuse to take blame for their students failing. I for one believe all students can learn. The Principle is inconsiderate on whatever the student has to say. If a problem persists her immediate solution is to suspend or expelle. Once she has made her decision it is final and she does not care what the parent or student has to say about anything. This school is a disgrace do not spend your money on this failure of a school.
