My daughter was home school she has CP/spascity.she had difficulty in reading and now she reads level P. The teachers are great there, When she is sick they show concern, when they see she needs help in a curriculum they let me know. Not everything falls on the teacher or the staff, when a parent sends they child to school your child should show respect and be ready to learn because after all.. parents runs the association and the child make the school.

My child got hurt badly at PS269 and had to miss school for days .No one never called me to follow up on the incident even after, I made a report to the school. Not even a phone call from the Principal. So parents ask your self are your children safe at PS269?

I was told when I moved in the area that P.S. 269 was a good school. Some of my friend went here. So I tryed it out with my son going there. As soon as my son started goin there all broke loose. My son is in IEP and they have him in a class full 30 student. Thwn some of the teacher are very unorganized. And some of the employees that work inside the school does not have any professionalism when they call a parent and they ask inappropriate questions like you don't know how to raise your child. Also they are disrespectful...other then that I met some teachers and they know what they are doin when it comes down to teaching...Not enough homework though...

We can see that the school rated 2 out 10. It is not normal and it is not a good score for the school performance. Teachers need to do a liitle more in the class room, so the kids can perform on exams. The problem is simple " the students do not learn anything because the can not do the work" make sure they can understand what the trachers teach, then they will perform great on exam.
