As a parent of two students that have gone through Central Brooklyn Ascend when my daughter was apart of the founding incoming Kindergarten students in the building until now that she’s in the middle school and I have a 1st grader. The school has seen its share of strong leadership and not such strong leadership. Currently, Principal Saint is making strives in bridging the learning gap due to Covid and poor leadership prior to him.

My daughter is in the 2nd grade and this is her first year here since the school has moved to East flatbush.this school is a good school as I compare it to her last school which was a public school.the curriculum is rigorous and require alot from the children.they are required to read and do h.w everyday regardless of holidays or days off which is great. My daughter is finally being challenged the way she is suppose to be since this school has standards. Besides the curriculum they have fun events for the children sometimes weekly. Iam will also be sending my son there for kindergarten next yr.
