This is a beautiful new school in a lovely community. The administrators, teachers, even the parents are involved and supportive of the overall school community, which is very important for the school to succeed. The teachers plus school administration are wonderful. They care about the students education, well being, and cultural background. From my experience the teachers are excellent at communicating with parents whether it’s how the student is doing or if any challenges arise, to how to help. Their approach of engaging and educating is modern, equitable, and forward thinking, that also goes along with discipline (Positive talk, positive thinking, positive but firm action) Same can be said for Principle O’Conner-Weaver, the front office plus nurses station. They run a very organized tight ship and keep the school going in a fair professional manner. The school is more STEM based. Students wear uniforms, don’t worry they get free dress days! Wonderful specialist! Music (Music teacher is amazing and the kids LOVE him) , steam, p.e., library. I wish we can see more art projects come home, but you see plenty of it in the school halls. The school does very well on fundraisers and parents are very giving happy to participate with volunteering and putting after school events together. No school is perfect. I would love to see the front staff be more kinder to some of the parents. I know they are super busy, but please be more understanding with parents, especially parents who are trying to understand how the American school system works. Please try not to scold or talk down to parents when they make a mistake about pickup. Be firm, but don’t be rude. School counselor and therapist care about the students mental well being and you see them walking around the school and checking up on the students, though I have heard they can sometimes be somewhat disengaged and not understanding, when it comes to extra help with navigating, understanding kiddos who are neurodivergent or need accommodations. Hopefully, that will change. I have visited during lunch and would like to see an adult serving and helping kids at the salad fruit bar. Not all kids wash hands you see time being wasted with kids figuring out what to do and holding up the line, especially the little ones. Please make sure the students all head over to the restroom to wash hands. It would be great if teachers sat with their class or nearby during lunch time. Overall a great school!

Excellent school, staff especially Principal Ms.Weaver. Very well maintained school and disciplined. We are going to miss this school as we are moving to another state.
