My kids have had such a great experience at Running Springs. Could not recommend this school more. The school and classrooms are very clean and up to date with new technology. The teachers have been amazing!

We moved here mid school year. It was a rough transition during covid and we were given very little support by the school. Between a hybrid model, we were lost, and that too mid-year transition. No one really helped out until we had to bring it up to the management. Our kids were so lost, to a point they hated school. Having said that, once we brought it up, everyone was supportive and helped and understood our problems. And to be fair on the teachers, covid has been hard. In their second school year now, we like their curriculum and homework. Thet keep the kids busy in a good way. They celebrate lot of values, festivities around the world, and provide a holistic approach to the kids. They focus on academic enrichment. However, I wish they would keep the homework a bit more structured. Follow more pencil paper book approach vs. depending so much on gadgets. Kids need to learn the real way. They got their whole life for gadgets. I hope the school makes a note of that. Allow perhaps one app per grade. They should spend less time on screen and more on books. That's my only complaint. But otherwise, i love the values at this school.

Great school. Tons of communication with administration and transfers. Wonderful community of parents. The school provides PE and a Spanish teacher for all students. A great technology program. Pre-COVID, there are so many extracurricular activities. Office staff is amazing, warm and always on top of it. Plus, the pick up is so fast- it’s truly amazing.

This school does not provide a safe educational setting for students. The overloaded classes are set up for students to fail due to lack of equality in dicipline. The neglect of childrens safety is effecting the visual learning progress of students and damaging students emotionally by not reporting bad behavior.

bummed about the little effort 5th grade teacher gives. When my kid sees teacher on phone, playing games it doesn't help set a standard for rigor!

My daughter has attended RS for nearly 4 years and all of her teachers have been great except one. It appears non working parents who can socialize are favored and the women who work in the school office simply aren't very nice people. My daughter hates going to school even though she says she loves her teacher and has some nice friends but I think that's because school is work and she'd rather play! Academically I think RS is pretty good and I am kept informed about homework and behavior on a consistent basis. There was one issue my daughter had with her friend and the principle handled the issue very very well. My daughter likes and respects him. The school office staff needs to at least attempt to be more decent. I have to ask my husband to handle most of the interaction with the school because he's less affected by unpleasant people than I am. However, my daughter has a big personality and she says the school staff are always nice to her which makes me happy.

Why even waist money on buying school agenda's ?Teachers don't sign it daily to make sure it's filled out, taken home or work is done. Shocking amount of kids that cannot read or know math facts. Teacher's are lazy, only report on website about missing assignments, nothing happens about it.

Teachers do not let parents know when homework is missed. My child got 3 F's and a D, and the teacher didn't think we needed a conference at conference time. I still have no idea what homework is assigned and if it was turned in. Teachers are lazy. Teachers don't even correct homework, my child fills in whatever answers they want.
