DISTURBING! Travis Ranch claims to be top notch and the staff will remind the students of this, which is completely misleading. Constant bullying with students and staff. The teachers don’t care if they belittle your children while trying to discipline them. The prevalence of bullying and violence in the school is alarmingly high and unfortunately, those bullies get away with it, including the PTA President's children. The school's leadership seems to have very little to no regard for addressing these issues. The entitled students get away with EVERYTHING, including bullying, race issues, and inappropriate sexual conversations. School fights are out of control, too! WHY DOES THE STAFF AND SCHOOL DISTRICT ALLOW THIS?!?!?!? Oh and one more thing, the staff of 2023-2024 school year, lost site of a non-verbal special needs student who managed to run away from campus, hop on a train (off Esperanza) and go to a whole different city, different county!!! How top notch does this school sound now, huh? There are a few teachers and staff members that will look out for your children unfortunately, not many that can be trusted.

This school is beyond amazing! There is always a positive atmosphere, smiles on the kids faces, and fun events going on. I'm proud that my children attend this school!

The teachers are very nice, helpful, etc. but many are lackluster in terms of actual teaching. This school excels in all but making use of the school day.

I have been very happy with my daughter and son's experience at Travis Ranch. I really think the teachers have the best interest of the kids in mind. If I have ever had a concern, I've emailed the teachers and the teacher took my conern seriously. The school district we moved from was a top ten school district in California and I prefer Travis Ranch! My kids love being in band, Mr. Nuss the middle school band director is awesome. I could on and on how different teachers have inspired my kids. My kids are shy and they have been able to make friends.

I am a parent of a boy and girl that attended Travis Ranch. Bullying was always a problem at the school and the teachers ignored and refused to stop or prevent bullying after parents have brought incidents to their attention. Common core math was terrible. The science was mediocre and included watching clips of a science guy but no book was ever provided to study science material. No language book was ever provided for parents to read the curriculum that they were being taught. Teachers provided mostly xerox pages but no textbooks were given to follow. Luckily great private schools are in the area that follow a curriculum for parents to know all their children are learning.

Overall we have had a great experience with Travis Ranch. 3 years in we have not only been happy with the education but the personal relationship the teachers build with our children.

Travis Ranch is a place where families come back so their children can be students at this special place. After a few years of losing its way, the current administration has brought back the sense of pride, joy and partnership between the school and it’s families. Unfortunately the Superintendent doesn’t understand the culture of the school (he never even visits) and keeps making administration changes every couple years. Don’t fix what’s not broken, Greg Plutko!

As a parent of a MS and ES student I couldn't be more happy with Travis Ranch. Not only do I love the K-8 experience my kids have, but I truly believe teachers and the administrators put the students first. Travis has a very strong PTA as well which provides many additional opportunities to students that they may other not have had. Additionally, I think the teachers and administrators don't marginalize parents which makes for a collaborative environment for all.

Travis strives to build children of high intellect and character within our community. Issues relating to learning delays are addressed promptly and by an empathetic administration. We have had an excellent experience with the school and look forward to our children continuing their education thru 8th grade at Travis. If you are are looking for a school that takes pride in their students and proactively listens to parents, Travis is the school for you!!

We have absolutely loved our experience at Travis Ranch. We have had the opportunity to move out of the area for work, but stayed due to the wonderful education our children receive here in Yorba Linda.

3/21/19Parents & Students,Here’s to you!I want to you today to tell you how important it is to have inscribed integrity into your kids souls no matter where they go.So that when it comes to making choices their feet have been planted firmly. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with the immortality 1Co 15:53So when somebody doesn’t hear them, they don’t need their validation, it’s already been given. When he found one of great value he went away and sold everything he had and bought it Mt 13:46So that no matter what they do, they endure in whatever is given and the fight is not theirs to win.He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor, his righteousness endures forever; his horn will be lifted in honor Ps 112;9So that they will be lifted up in honor and what is given will be fair, even when not given by those they expect it from.So that they know in the end, Justice will be served.Blessed are they who maintain justice who constantly do what is right Ps 106:3Our kids are our future. Protect them, support them and don’t let anyone ever take away their voice and tell them what they ARE or ARE NOT.Children’s children are a crown to the aged, and parent’s are the pride for their children Pr 17:6

I have a son who just finished 8th grade and one who is starting 4th. The environment at Travis is great. The teachers are engaged, the parents are involved and the administrators are approachable. My older son is extremely prepared for high school and my younger one is being challenged and we are only a few weeks in.....I'm looking forward to a fantastic year!

Since moving to Travis Ranch, my kids were bullied by students, teachers, and administrators. My son got detention for injuring another student accidentally while trying to defend himself. My 3rd grade darter got shoved down a hill backwards and the administration took a "boys will be boys" attitude about it. My 5th grade daughter's teacher announced to the class that my daughter would lose recess for the rest of the year. The administration sided with the teacher. This school does not address bullying properly. The whole idea of those stupid "pride slips" when they do something wrong is rediculous too. I would not recommend this school.

Travis Ranch is a dynamic school with a strong teaching staff. Students from PK-8 are offered a wide ranch of enrichment support in part through PTA involvement. I love that a student can begin at Travis at the age of 4 and learn, grow and develop all the way through 8th grade.

I'm a student of travis ranch, so I know first hand what it is like. I'm a straight A honors student and have never had a problem with the school. Travis ranch is the kind of school that rreally cracks down on bullying and the problems in that area are very few, but the math department is really weak. Here is a list of whats weak and what is strong sci.=super strong Lang. Arts=strong Math=super weak Social studies= strong they also have these for middle school elections. Tech music art home Ec ( font know if I spelled that correctly) Computer sci.

This school is falling like a lead balloon. There are a group of teachers using the privacy of their classrooms and the captive audience of young children to promote their personal political feminist agenda. If you have boys, then you have two choices. Do nothing and let them fall behind or fight for an equal education. You'll have to fight the teachers, principal and the superintendent. Keep a log of facts because they will do their best to cover it up.

My son is happy at Travis. I am thrilled with their science department. The writing instruction is barely adequate. He wrote more in 5th grade. The math instruction is subpar. I tutor him every night. To quote him regarding the math videos he is required to watch, "The videos teach it better than the teacher."
